Jennie and I have just arrived to Eureka Springs with the 4 generation 8 cylinder Dallas group (Ron/Stephanie 348 ts, Rob/Karen 355, Brian/Nancy 360 CS). Already 30 or so exotics here, over 40 expected. Perfect match of small event feel but on a grand scale. Happy hour starts now, dinner, and then the ghost tour! Check my Journal thread for updates.

Ask Brian how many miles he has on the CS. You know he never drives that thing... :)

Dale, you are SOOOO old school. ;) Brian was famous for putting over 15k on CS about first year, but then got a bright idea and started a company, so you know how that goes and doesn't drive as much as he wants anymore. Haven't seen Brian on here mod'ing as much either. The good ole days, back when you use to be active and we spectated Maranelloman and Art every day. :D

Had great reception last night and rally to the War Eagle Mill, then police escort through town. Chilling this afternoon before happy hour, dinner, and Little Feat concert. Check my Journal thread for pics.

Looks to be a little tamer this year without "Uncle Greg" aboard. We want more pics of the ladies Rob! Hope Dale and I can join in next year when we are finally empty nesting after 30 years.

Christy and I would like to thank everyone for the great hospitality and making us feel like part of the family. We really enjoyed ourselves and plan on attending next year. Actually, I think I MUST attend to endure proper (and well deserved) punishment for "the incident". :)

Chris, if there is a list for next year put me on it!

Hey Gene, maybe you can take a few years of abuse instead of me and the F-150. :D

BTW, 0 mph better than 120 mph. :)

    Gene,

I'll start the bidding at $100 NOT to post images of the incident. The look on your face is priceless or at least equivalent to certain parts of certain cars. ;) :D

Well I am exhausted, but in a great way! I always have fun at Crescent, but this year was so much fun! I was lucky to have a great support team and fantastic sponsors!

Crescent has doubled in just three years and we already have registrations for 2008. I have to say that so much of our success is due to the support we get from Rob and Ferrarichat. Ferrarichat has been our partner since Crescent's inception.

We had a huge turn out this year, I will make other posts, but I want to thank Brian for being a class act after making a new "friend" in the parking lot.

Going to crash for the nite,

Thank you everyone, see you in 2008!

    Erik,
Even though I would love to start the bidding, I have a feeling I don't have enough money to keep those pictures off of the Internet. :) I can't even imagine my look. If there is anything that will (almost) bring a grown man to tears it is pulling a bonehead move like that less than 24 hours after joining my first Ferrari event.

    Chris,
Brian was as understanding as a guy could be in that situation and I really appreciate it. I am feeling pretty bad about it. If there had been a sandbox at Jim's place my head would have been in it. :)

    Rob,
I haven't heard about the F-150 incident so that is encouraging. Maybe in a few years people will forget about my mishap but I'm not holding my breath.

Oh, I'm modifying my 328 to have recessed parking lights like the later cars. If that thing hadn't been sticking out... yeah... that sounds like a good excuse...

I didn't see an F150, but I do have photos of a certain Porsche trailing a Dodge Ram pulling a trailer. Those, Peter making in the pool, and other entertaining images will be uploading this evening to the website.

Thanks to all for another enjoyable CC!

I wanted to thank everyone too for such a great event! The people were all fantastic, the organization was outstanding, and the drives... were the best! Good job, Chris. It was a perfect mix of drives, eating time, drinking time, etc. What a blast. I will definitely be there next year with my wife.

...I was probably the only one thrilled with that bit of rain on Saturday afternoon, but in my car, what a blast! I think I had Erik gripping the seat pretty hard... :)

Yes, you couldn't have had a better car for the rain. I really enjoyed the rain as well. Traction is soooo boring after awhile! :)

Nope, different collection in Branson. Whitlock's would be a great one too, but may be a bit far to come from Eureka Springs. The Branson stop was great 'cause we had the collections, the Landing for the ladies that were interested, and the Stormy Point (ha, no pun intended!) for lunch... and drinks, of course!

Thank you to all who made this Crescent Classic '07 so wonderful- Chris, Dana, Scott, Bernie, et al. I'm certain I can speak for all to say that your efforts were truly appreciated. Without you, we would not have the memories of living our dreams on winding roads in beautiful cars with old and new friends... Be safe and well until next year... I'm working on some teasers which I'll post later! You'll see this in the email that you'll receive from Daren, but all images will be color corrected, cropped, and otherwise edited prior to printing. If you have a preferred composition, please let me know. Thank you!

A great time was had by all again this year. Chris, you out did yourself once again!!!! I would like to thank Chris, Danna, Scott, Bernie, and Stu for all the work that they do to put this event together so that we can have fun and for tolerating my entourage. Met a lot of new folks this year. Amazing how this event has grown. Where are the pics??? I am sure there are some good ones out there.

Rob, I am sure Gene's incident will soon be forgotten. However, you and the F-150 will live on!!!

Eric, you may have a pic of a Porsche following a Ram with a trailer, but I am sure said Porsche soon passed this back marker.

Only 359 days left to Crescent 2008.

    Steve

Great pics Erik! Jennie and I like several of them, especially the rain shots. There's another our car is loaded nicely going through a corner. Everyone needs to support Erik as they worked really hard. These will look great on the wall as posters.

Erik, I gotta say, you are the man. (And your assistant too!) The pictures are incredible. This whole event is made even better by having you there to be able to document it for everyone. It gives us such a great way to remember it. It's a great addition that many other gatherings just don't have... and that should be recognized.

    Thank you!

Oh, and great shots of Steve's clan too!!
