    Wow, what a trip.

As my wife and I are over in Europe for business we had the opportunity to visit the Ferrari factory, Pagani Factory, and the shop that prepares BOTH companies carbon parts and does painting for Pagani. All this in one day.

As I visited the Ferarri factory last November this was even more of a treat to be able to do it again, this time with my wife.

We started the day driving from Padova and arrived in Modena around 10 AM. From there we went to the shop that prepares all the carbon parts for Pagani and Ferrari. They also do all the paint work for Pagani. Carbon parts all over the place. I was drooling hard.. VERY

The shop is quite special as they also do restoration work on exotics. The craftsmanship is suberb and I met with the owners of the company. I guess we hit it off quite well as he made a call and we were wisked to the Pagini factory.

We saw all of the processes required to make one of these fabulous cars and we treated like royalty. I now want to add one of these to the garage. Incredible.

We then went over to Marenello and had lunch in Cavalinno, did som eshopping and then went on our tour. It must have been our lucky day as the tour took an extra 40 minutes where we were treated to extended visits in certain areas.

While there we saw the new Scuderia. What an awesome car.... Also on the line was a LIME GREEN 430 Coupe. The tour guide asked the line workers where this car was going. We all thought Europe or the Middle East as the color was quite bright and unusual. Turns out is will be coming to the USA. Be prepared for a thread on that one.

All and all the day of a lifetime.

    Enjoy the pics.

    Craig

I bet that Renault in post # 1 has never been in such exquisite company before.

Amazing experience - I have done the Ferrari factory before but would love to do the others sometime.

While the Ferrari factory was the highlight I can truly say the Pagani factory held more interest as I could imagine that Enzo used to do it that way. Small staff, everything done local. You could just imagine it from the past.

It's too bad you could not take pictures while inside either.

I was thinking to post that but you win me...:D

The owner of the Renault Clio must feel lucky to have his cars near that Miura, Countach and that Daytona.

    Thanks for the pics Craig
