I figure that there are so many Hawaiians in the Northwest (and oddly, mostly in Washington!) I'd put this here.

Where you at? I'm looking at going to Hawaii pretty soon since the NW weather is well not so good.

My g/f and I are staying at a timeshare she has (from a prior marriage) called "The Sands of Kahana" located in...you guessed it, Kahana in Maui (west side)! Very nice place and way big for just two of us, seriously, this ain't no tiny hotel room! King sized master, spare bed room has two twins, two full bath rooms, huge living room & dining room, kitchen bigger than ours at home (edit: washer and dryer, too). We were thinking of selling it but now she's changing her mind and I can't blame her.

We're staying until Saturday and the weather is nice. Overcast in the morn but it then clears of to spotty cloud conditions. I'm still not a fan of humidity (suffered thru that in SC and GA during the Navy) but it's not as bad as the south and the heat tops out no more than 90F, and the shade does help. Water temp is great and I have no problems snorkeling for an hour or so.

Oops, my sweetie just made breakfast so I gotta go! Aloha!
