Personally,I just don't get it,car looks like it's primered and ready for for a real paintjob......

 

It's fine except for the blacked out tail lights and wing.

 

I like the car and the paint , but the blacked out tail lights and the wing, made the car looks really ugly...

the wing is a bit silly. but on the whole it is pretty cool. Kinda stealth-fighter like, like a Reventon.

 

Thats the exact scheme I would have. Matte black *thumbs up*.

I wouldn't have the wing or smoked tail lights (and proborally yellow calipers).

I like it! Minus the stupid wing. When will people realize aftermarket spoilers on road-cars never look right.

 

IMHO, the 599 is too pretty of a car for a matte finish - cars with a menacing appearance look better with a matte finish, LP640 is among the first to come to mind. I recall seeing an aluminum, almost chrome finish 599 on Fchat a while back - now that looked nice because highlighted the subtleties of the shape/accentuated the lines.

Matte black is disgusting in the best possible way on anything. It's so mean. Thumbs up on the paint!

I agree about the taillights and wing, and I would probably change the wheels, too. Leave them stock or go with a completely black finish, no chrome lip. He's gone that far, might as well go all the way.

Very sorry to spoil the fun on this one because the color of this car is ... RED !!
The car is not painted in matt black, but wrapped in a matt black foil.
The original factory Rosso Corsa is still underneath the foil.

Love it "Gift Wrapping". Matte paint always sounds much better in theory than practice. This comes close to pulling it off though. Like the tail lights but the wing must go.

Is that a big deal to do? What a cool idea. I have heard of friends do it in the UK but never actually seen it done. Somebody did a 550 for Gumball as the General Lee.

 

550 as a Dukes o' Hazzard car? I guess to goes to the saying that just because something can be done doesn't mean that it should be done.

 

I tried to get my 430 in Matte Black and they turned me down at the last minute at the factory. I Love that Non Color

Looks alright....the interior stands out too much, should just be black. The rear diffuser would also look better as the same color as the car. Nice 599 though

 

Wing??? Why? Is this a Porsche? IMO wings ruin the beautyfull classic shapes of Ferrari....
