Have prices on the 4 cyl classics risen that much? Price seems quite high to me. Just a few years ago could get a 500TRC at $1M or just a bit over....
I was thinking of going with a engine out of a 91 testarossa, I just put the Chevy engines in the 308's
Or a turbine....JUST KIDDING. What an incredible car and a great piece of automotive history. Wow is definitely right.
That is freaking wicked. Lets see, the jackpot right now is about 25 million Canadian. The CAD and USD are almost at par. Its possible.
If any of you guys ever get an opportunity to be around here, DEFINITELY go and check out Bentley Long Island. I've never seen so many exotic cars in one place before. Virtually any exotic you can think of! And their customer service is TOP NOTCH!!! I went there with ExoticsRally and I was too young to drive the Gallardo test car from Lamborghini (must be 25) and the owner let me drive one of THEIR VERY OWN 6-speed Gallardos instead! Salesmen gave me his card and told me to come visit whenever. I will never forget that and even though there are tons of exotic car dealers next to my house, they will always be my first choice due to how they treated me.
I guess is depends on which state you live in. In Texas it could be registered as an antique automobile and you wouldn't need a windshield wiper or a front plate.
I always thought Ferraris of this magnitude were sold very privately between collectors & never on Ebay.
Gees, I bought my car from Ferrari/Maserati of Long Island. I didn't see anything like that! Not sure if I haver ever seen the real thing at any F club meets either among the multi-million $ herd.
Barchetta's history is interesting 7 years ago high bid no sale at $725k http://www.barchetta.cc/english/All.Ferraris/Detail/0650MDTR.500TR.htm Erik
This fifty year old car is in better shape than some 5 year old cars, congrats in advance to whoever buys it, it is quite a car.
they are. that's one reason this one won't sell on ebay. cheap advertising for the dealer though. he got it on f-chat.
