Well, what an event! From the Auction, Legends of Trans Am where we met Parnelli Jones, George Follmer, Dan Gurney, John Morton and Sam Posey, David Hobbs among others, to the awesome spread of cars on the show field, Parnelli pulling up and stoping right by me in the King Cobra, and the Trans Am cars firing up in unison, the list goes on....

Next the Legends of Trans Am...some of these are not so good, but you will get the idea of the scope of the event. If you are a race fan, it was very special. Our own Alex Bernie traveled with us. He had sent Dan Gurny a disc of some very historic video he had taken in the 50s and 60s. Dan's wife wrote back that they had made 6 copies and given to the children, so it was good that they could meet after communicating via phone and email. One of these aweful pictures is of me meeting Bud Moore, one of my childhood racing heros.

    Terrific photo's guys.
I looks like a great event with a wide variety of rolling stock. Too many shots to choose a favorite, but I did have one of these back in high school. 1970 Javelin (All red) but with a lowly 232 6-banger...Mom wouldn't let us get the 390 V-8
O' yeah... some nice looking Ferrari's in there too!

I really wanted to go to this. My boss and his dad went down with a bunch of their Thomas Flyers.

Awesome show. The Bizzarini line is something. I like the Falcon, too! Plenty of F-cars but my favorites are the GTA's.
