    Is now working!!!!!!!!!!! Woo-Hoo!!!! Thanks Toggie!!!! Ok guys you are now able to upload pics of your car to the 355 registry. Here is the deal---Go to the site and roll over the Registry tab. Under that tab click List by Year and it will give you a dropdown of all the cars entered. Click your year from the dropdown list and scroll down to find your car. Click your VIN and your car page will come up. Click add photos, browse for then and upload.

    *****The pic must be 400 X 300 to work really good and look the best***** You can resize them many ways. If you cannot figure out how to resize them, just send me an email with your VIN and the pics and I will upload them for you. OR you can post them in the registry thread here on Fchat and send me a PM--I will get them and resize for you....Here is an example of my car to show you guys what it looks like!!

    I had an issue trying to upload a picture. It said there was an error; something about the file name needing to be at least five characters long - needless to say, it was longer than that. I opened the file, saved it with a six-digit name, closed and then tried uploading it again. No dice.

    Can someone send me the pics they attempted to upload so I can see what you mean with the error...You load them in the registry thread here and PM me--I will retrieve them from there...Include your VIN...

    I have uploaded about 75 pics and had no problems..

    I'm having the same problem...My VIN is 115608. The picture below was one of the pics I tried uploading.

    I think I fixed the picture upload problem some users were experiencing.

    After some technical research I discovered that Firefox and Safari browsers do not behave the same as Microsoft's Internet Explorer (IE) when uploading a file through a web page. Some technical changes have been made to the 355 Registry file upload module and it should now work for those two browsers.

    I was able to upload the picture of the TDF Blue 355 for Blue4ref2 using Firefox.

    Great idea.
    I went ahead and added this new feature to the Basic Statistics web page.
    Take a look at:
    http://www.ferrari355registry.com/Ferrari_Statistics.asp?pDV=B

    You'll notice a new box below the Year statistics called "Pictures".
    Click on the "Has Pictures" link and you'll get a list of 22 cars that currently have one or more pictures uploaded for them.
    Every time someone adds pics to a VIN that has zero pics before, the total count of cars with pictures will increase.

    I think the site is a fantastic one and 285Ferrari is to be commended 110%:D
    May i just comment on two things that i think may cause potential problems in the future, that may be caught now in the early stages. The first is that anyone can post pictures under any car section, with out discrimination. This can be wide open to abuse, ie some Fchat 348 joker could post a picture of a 348:D Or even some one who has stumbled across the site and is anti Ferrari,may post an offensive picture on any one else's section. This may be anything from porn to even a picture of a crashed Red 355 that may taint the reputation of the Red car that's section its in. Can the sctions not be limited to only certain number of picture only and then the facility cuts of? How about some system which you have to confirm you are the current owner of the car?
    Also i noticed that there are one or two pictures of ladies cheeky bums :D posing in the pictures with little or no view of the car in shot. Now look although this is great from a guys point of view:D. We have to remember that this is a serious 355 information bank that the serious 355 future buyer will be scanning. And this may include women.
    Sorry for the suggestions 285ferrari, its just that i want as much as anyone else to see this great commodity of a 355 register to grow into the greatness it deserves:)
    I have no idea how to even suggest how to remedy the problems i have pointed out. But i am sure both you and your programmer can come up with an answer. After all i remember very well the first thread on here when you came up with the idea a few years ago. And what seemed like an up hill battle has now produced great fruit.:)

    FYI, there is a new "Delete Photo" feature now in the 355 Registry website.

    I'm trying to keep the redundant data to a minimum between these two threads.

    I will slowly over the next few weeks be pulling all the pics from the registry thread here(sticky) into the actual registry itself-----If you have other pics for your specific car you would rather have in the registry please send them in email to me or upload them in the proper format... Thanks!! As of now well over 200 pics in the actual registry there to view!!
