My Scuderia raced Intouch1's GT2 Today (Pics)

    We raced both cars today. It was a super drive with lots of adrenalin. I have never enjoyed a drive like today and like Intouch1 said, they are monsters and both cars are superfast and I cannot say that one is faster than the other.......they are equal in performance. Both cars are amazing on the road and really pull side by side maybe inches apart depending on who's quicker on the start line. The cars stay together till about 200km/hr.......we didn't race them above that speed. I took the Scuderia till 270km/hr and it still handled perfectly.

    The Scuderia cannot be compared to the F430.......both cars are extremely different. The Scuderia is incredibly fast, the gear changing is very smooth and very swift and the car handling and steering is incredible.......the Scuderia just does excatly what you want to do when you want to do it. The steering is very precise and the throttle response is amazing. The engine responds immediately and swiftly throughout the rpm range to any changes in throttle, even at very low rpm, unlike the F430. The Scuderia is perfectly engineered. IMO, the Scuderia is perfect in all driving aspects. My last comment for now for anyone still buying a Scuderia...........do not get a sound system. You do not hear anything even at full volume.......seriously. I had the stereo at full volume, I think the level was "49" which is maximum volume on the Becker unit and above 5000 rpm I could not hear anything except the exhaust sound which is incredibly load.

    I am sure Intouch will also join us and provide us with some driving impressions of his GT2.

    Wonderful story, and a beautiful Scud!! These are the first pics we've seen of it out in the daylight, and it is fantastic.

    Did you happen to get any pics with the two monsters side-by-side?

    both of us....for getting these cars :D

    no, both are are absolutely equal. we did about 10 runs i guess. from standstill and from 30 and 50 and 80 km/h...side by side always.
    only if TK or I jumped the throttle would one of us take the lead with the gap staying constant from there on.

    the only time i really flew away was when i used my launch control...but TK would be right there with me had he used his too. however, we want to keep his clutch for a while longer and therefore will refrain from using the F's launch control for now.
    funnily, the launch control on the GT2 actually puts less load on the clutch, as the cars electronics take over to modulate power when launching. no wheelslip nothing. just a slingshot sensation...

    we both are totally thrilled.....

    tomorow we change seats...:D

    the sound of the scud is mad...unreal....unleashed fury...and the 2 doesn't sound too shabby either ;)

    Okayyyyyyyyy I finally get to see a pic of Tarek's car taken outside. Poor thing was bashfully hiding in the garage all this time :p :D

    She's a beaut!!! Looking forward to more driving impressions as you get more experience with her. DO you have a race track in Egypt where you can safely explore the cornering limits?

    The GT2 is a great car too. :)
