    But today she has awoken! Mike (Frefan's) beautiful F40 was delivered in Reno today at approximately noon. I was fortunate enough to be there and snap a few shots. Check it out!

    If you heard something that sounded like a formula 1 car buzzing around that may have been it :)

    I KNOW! The part where you were at the Mt. Rose Highway intersection was about 1 mile from my house! I would have LOVED to see that car! lol

    Jokes aside, I love the F40. It is one of the most aesthetically appealing cars on the road today. And to know that I was able to get a ride in a car that has only been replicated 1311 times feels great.

    But behind the fact that it is a Ferrari, it is an F40, and it is beautiful, is this: the sound. The sound of Mikes car blows any other car out of the water. As we were buzzing around idling at 2500 RPMs and reaching 5-6 thousand in normal accelleration, you could hear the sound of the car echoing through the air and off of other cars. People would turn and be scared ****less as it flew by.

    Hi Ron, this is not the same car. This is F40 #2, thanks to your assistance btw. That one was the infamous 92017. Stackhouse knows this one well.

    I'm STILL shaking with excitement and it's been about 30 minutes since I pulled up next to you guys! That was AWESOME!!!! That is truly a memory that will be with me for the rest of my life; the sound, the adrenaline, the beauty. That was simply awesome. You are SOOOOOOOOOOOOO lucky you were able to get a ride in that car.

    Trust me, I know lol.

    I'm very grateful to have met Mike and am very grateful that he is such a nice guy. He never talks about money or anything to do with financials it is strictly ************ and price tags don't matter. He is a true enthusiast like the rest of us here and just loves to get out and enjoy his cars.

    The car sounds AMAZING inside. Somehow I knew we would run into you lol!

    Did you just see us and follow or did you just pull up as we were sitting right there??

    I was coming home from Home Depot and from about 1/4 mile away, I saw you guys at the first stoplight. I screamed, "F-40!!!!" I gunned it in the Jeep to catch up to you guys and luckily, you guys were still stopped. I followed you until you turned into the gas station. I would've stopped and said hi, but my dad was in the car and he wanted to get home. I was SHOCKED to see you because I was just thinking about how lucky you were to see that car and then all of the sudden, it's like BOOM Ferrari F40 in front of me! lol. I saw the licence plate and knew it was you. I gave him a PM saying how much I enjoyed seeing that car on the road. It has been a life-long dream of mine to see a F40 on the road and today, it finally came true! NOTHING, and I repeat, NOTHING sounds like a Ferrari!
