Anyone here familiar with this brand, in particular, this line http://www.txwatches.com/collections/770.html

(Is this a Timex derivative? I did a quick search for "techno luxury" in this forum but didn't get anything back for some reason...)

    Any insight is appreciated.

(Also, please note, I am not asking about this as a "fine" watch, obviously.)

I have seen them in person, and for the price they are nice. I do not believe there is a Timex connection (I could be wrong).

Anyway, if VTC or Ray can't hook you, you can check www.righttime.com

    Best,

I stand corrected, It is an offshoot of Timex:

"In a new philosophy from the largest watchmaker, Timex Group B.V., was born a desire for design that brings together cutting edge materials, innovative technological performance with old-world craftsmanship. The result is a creation of this new brand of watches TX or TechnoLuxury™.
TX TechnoLuxury Timepieces represent the unification of precise instrumentation and pure aesthetic form. Engineered in Germany, each movement was developed over five years with zero compromises. This new category of TechnoLuxury timepieces is designed to impress those that demand superior form and unequalled function. In collaboration with a renowned Italian designer we have conceived and created TX Timepieces. Infused with a synthesis of technology and design, hand-picking the finest materials including a premium sapphire crystal, sculpted dials and hands, the finest leather, and an etched case back, each TX timepiece also incorporates four independent motors, each one driving a specific function. Using six hands and bold dashboard styling, TX is designed to reflect its movement engineering, displaying a purity it revels in. TX delivers beyond expectations; creating a whole new category of watches with the luxury that, until now, could only be found in most elite time-keeping instruments.
Timex Group B.V., the main U.S. offices of which are situated in Middlebury(Connecticut), is the most famous American watch company today. Group now sells watches under other well known brands, like Guess, Nautica, Ecko, Opex, Swiss made watch brand "Versace" and recently acquired Vincent Bérard SA, an exclusive Swiss manufacturer of unique museum-quality handmade mechanical timepieces that will endure for generations. . The manufacturing is largely based on technology that continues to be developed in the United States, Germany and Switzerland. "

I might have to pick one of these up. I like this one. I'm just worried if I'm going to lose like 5 min a day or something. If I get one I'll let you all know.

I doubt you'll lose 5 minutes a day. Timex makes a good watch for the money. Since it is battery operated it should be plenty accurate anyway. You should be fine for that one.
