    Hey all,

I'm sure some people know, some other's don't... Today I found out the difference in the "identical" gearboxes betwen the Mondial t and the 348... It is the gearing between the input shaft (part 8) and the bevel gearing shaft (part 23). I don't know the price ratios, but I know the ones in the T allow the car to rev faster to keep the performance acceptable given the car's higher weight to the 348. The 348, gives it a bit more top end, eg wheel rotation at redline, hence the higher top speed.

Michelotto, also have different gearings for various race combinations...

I have a 348 box now, and am looking forward to having the T beat the 160 mph (down a shallow hill, the wind behind me, towed by a Veyron, nitroglycerine additive in the fuel, helium in the cab and tyres) I nailed in Germany.
