I think I know the car your talking about....if it is the same and makes you fell better...

You can have it for $84,888.00!!

Can not do much better than that...

Jim uses AOL autos to find his cars, haha. Is that where you found P4/5? (kidding, of course)
I don't know, just strikes my funny bone.

No but it is informative as to what people are asking and how many are being offered. Hey I think Roy is pricing fairly. He's a dealer and has overhead and still seems to price reasonably. I think the number for sale shows the direction prices are heading but I think Roy will adjust and his prices today are market correct.

    Agreed 100%.

Paying $8x,xxx for a (even first-year) Gallardo, stock-equipped sub-10k mile is still coming out WAY ahead in my book. It is after all a 500hp Lamborghini at the end of the day and for what -- M-Benz S-class money? Provided a clean history, kind of a no-brainer.

Are these cars getting repossessed ??? Looks like the exotic market is mimicking the housing market !! :(

    Hey

I think the stock market is way oversold and will begin to straighten out slowly from here but I thought that a while ago as well.

The car market IMHO still has a way to fall.

Yes and no...by that I mean there are many where the payment are not being made...HOWEVER since they put a good chunk down when they bought them, they are more inclined to GIVE the car away for what they owe and save their credit the best they can,...

Unlike HOUSES most of these cars DO have just enough equity in them to cover what buyers owe on them, not easy to let you car go for 1/2 what you paid for in some cases...but it does save your credt and you can always come back..

So as always...it is a buyers market right now...

I do get some great deals on these cars and have been trying to pass them on to the retail market.

If you are looking for something specific, let me know...chances are I know of it or where it is...so many of these never make it to retail market advertising...my list of wanted cars grows each day, call and get on it.

FYI dollar to dollar right now in the G market the spyders are a give away...there are so many 2008 NEW units sitting I can get them for a stel for you,...way below dealer costs!!

I'm no expert, but another 10K drop from those prices and they should firm up pretty good. 70K range and you're in the price range of the upper middle class. Lots of people able to buy in that price range even in this enviroment. I told myself I was going to get an early G when they hit 100K. Shoot, they seem to have fallen below that while I wasn't looking. I just missed a white 06 CLS55 AMG 030 package with 20K miles for low 40's. Guy wasn't hurting, he had just found a killer deal on a 997tt. The fellow who bought it posted about it on MBworld. It's not just the people hurting for money that are selling cheap, it's also the one's that have found other stellar deals.

Don't worry, there will be plenty more. The market has not bottomed yet.

I would suspect that buyers that do jump in won't stay very long. They'll just taste it then sell it again. Now the market is "I always wanted to own a Lambo" buyers that never could until now. I don't see Gallardos firming in price ever.

These are great examples of cars that HAD to be sold. I don't know a Gallardo owner that would sell his car for under $100,000 unless it is damaged, high mileage or otherwise in neglected condition. We are going to hear about more reposesions, IRS seizures etc... but these represent a very small percentage of the market. Most owners don't need or want to sell right now. If am wrong and you are out there with a nice clean low mileage car and are willing to sell at Roy's pricing, let us know. Otherwise; you cannot base the market value of the other 4,000 gallardos in the US on the asking price of a couple cars. I am not making a judgement on the condition or history of Roy's cars, just that they are way under the market average price and look like a great buy. However; always make sure you understand what you are buying.

It is true the values have come down, but that is natural, all car values come down this time of year. What is hurting the market more than anything is the ability to finance your new purchase. If you have cash, now is the time to buy. The banks will get an influx of cash soon and you will see the values level off. I have always had financing $ available to me at our store and we have had one of our best months with Lamborghini sales. I have spent a lot of years developing relationships with banks and it is now paying off for me.

If you are in the market to buy, All our pre-owned Gallardo and Murcielago are sold with a one year Factory Certified Pre-owned bumper to bumper Warranty. This requires a thourough inspection of all systems including a compression test and it all has to be verified and approved by Lamborghini. So you can rest assured that our cars are servied by the book and are ready to be enjoyed.

    Best regards,
