I’ve been enjoying and participating on this section for a while. I know I am going to get flamed for even asking this, but what is the bio on Roy? I know he sells a ton of lamborghinis. I also know he personally owns a ton of lamborghinis. But I hear that this is merely a hobby for him. I also know that he has beautiful girls willing to take it off in his garage and his customers have great things to say about his dealership. So what else do you do for a living Roy? How old is your dealership? When did you buy your first lambo? What was it? Was a Lamborghini your first exotic? C’mon, give us some details. We have been following your threads and some of us (including me) have been your biggest defenders.

I know, I know…its rude to ask such questions. My mom would shoot me. Moreover, I am a hypocrite because I wouldn’t want my personal business posted here. But I presume it won’t hurt to ask considering he has such a public profile here.

I'm sure Roy will chime in here. He is pretty open about his affairs so it would be best for none of us to answer anything for him. Then again I would not fault him if he wanted to keep a low profile either. I must say between the exotic cars, girls, and cash he does lead quite the enviable life :)

LOL OK you asked ajns o I shall say...first off I am not at the least bit a "Private" person...oh well, thats the way I choose to live my life.

I was born June 2nd 1957 in Los Angelas California to a Jewish father and a catholic mother of imagrant parents from Holland that had just settled in the area after being bannished by their familys for getting married outside of their fates..(Big thing back then). I do have a younger brother born August 5, 1958, he currently lives in South Florida. Our family stayed in South Cali till I was 13, at which time we moved back to Holland and remained there till about age 16. (and yes by now the familys had made up). Most of my fathers family had died however, had been executed in the Nazi war camps during WW II for the Jewish faith. My Grandfather had survived and still beared his serial number that was branded into his right forearm by the Nazi captures. My father went underground and worked with the Dutch underground resitance to fight in the war.

After the war my father and mother met, after being married they moved to Morroco were they both landed jobs on a US Military base in the early 50's. In early 1956 they were both sponsered to the USA by a then Namy Captain. My fathers first job was as a collection agent for a jewlery store back then, my mother remained a house wife.

At approx 16, after being back in the states for a few months, my parents decided to move to Canada, were we had relatives on my mothers side. On our drive up to Canad we stopped at a Mall in North Seattle to have lunch, called Northgate Mall. During the lunch my father struck up qa conversation with the owners that led to their selling him the restaurand...and walaaa we are now residents of Seattle...were I have been ever since. My father went on to own several restaurants in the PNW. He and my mother passed with in a year of each other back in 1990.

I graduated from Ingraham HS in June 1975. That is the higest education I ever recieved. After gradutaion I moved to Las Vegas NV, took a job for a security company and waited till I was 21 to apply for the Las Vegas Police Dept. I wanted to be a cop. At age 21 I started testing for various depts. I was hired by the Benton City Police Dept at age 22 n Eastern Washington. I graduated from the Washington State Police Academy in 1979. I worked for Benton City for a little over a year until I transfered to the Kitsap County Sheriffs Office in 1980, (western Washington 20 miles west of Seattle). I married my first wife Mickey, who worked in the Prosecuters office at age 24. We had 2 great children, Jonathan my son 23 now living in Hermossa Beach California and my Daughter, Karlee 21, living a mile from me here in Seattle and works for me today. We divorced when the children were 2 or so, but remain great and close family friends till this day. She remarried a Federal US Marshall Deputy and moved to eastern Washington.

I moved through the ranks of the Sheriff's Office...with my last assignment traffic cop...loved it best cause of all the high speed chases and sneaker cars we had...which you can not do here any longer. Then in 1990 I decided to run for election against the current Sheriff...well I lost. With in weeks I had been re-assigned by the winning Sheriff to Graveyard, seperate days off and out of traffic....that lasted about 1 month prior to me leaving the Sheriffs office by means of them firing me in early 1990...

With nothing left to do, and with no other Department going to hire me, as I had been black listed in the State..I decided to go all out and started my own Security and Fire Alarm company in 1990...me and 1 other employee www.fpiseattle.com By 1995 I had grown to approx 10 employees and was doing quite well. I met my second wife Kari, who at the time was quite younger then my and a Seattle Seahawks Chearleader. We married 3 months latter. As a wedding presen to her and I we bought my first exotic car. A Ferrari Mondial in Red...we had a great time with the car..we divorced in 1998 and are still very close friends till this date.

As my company grew, now growing into Eatern Washington and crossing the baorder into Oregon...I was lucky enough to be able to move up in exotic cars...first a 355 Yellow F-1, then onto several 360 cars, always buying them from my local Seattle Ferrari dealer that always took gret care of me...and till today we still enjoy each other visitig from time to time.

In 2001 I moved into my current home, after having it built in Mill Creek. I then with in months growing tired of the 20 mile plus comute to and from the office, moved our office into a office building I purchased in South Everett, minutes from my home. Which till today is still located at 1730 Gibson Road Everett, WA 98204. The company continued to grow, in early 2002 employing close to 50 people.

I had now traded my 360 in for a newer 360 spyder, red over tan with black stitching and F-1. This is when my first bad experiance started with the F car...not the dealer..the car has so many issues Ferrari of North America bought the car back under our State Lemon law. I shyed away from the exotics for a few months, but in September 2002 yearned for a car again.

A friend of mine ALEX said I should try Lamborghini. I as many people in the past first response was "are those not illegal in the US?"
Of course I found they were not and started my search on line for a car. I settled on the 2001 6.0 SE #19 in Brown that I bought from Jordan Utah..at that time the closest Lambo Dealer to me (Seattle) I flew down, signed the papers and DROVE it all the way home to Seattle with my friend Alex...still till today one of the BEST road trips ever. I arrived in Seattle with over 2K miles on it.

In 2003 my company was audited by the State of Washington for Retail Sales tax correct rate collecting, done about every 6-8 years random choice in this state. We came out with no issues, except ONE!! See we were buying and selling (our company vans) more than 5 a year...which in our state requires you to have a DEALERS LICENSE...at first I thought this was crap..I went to the school they required, 3 days of BS, got the license and formed the company Cats Cars...(latter changed to Cats Exotics) as required by the State.

By accident I was looking for another exotic car in 2003...by chance I mentioned to another dealer a car I was looking at that I was a licensed dealer in Washington..BAM..I got a different buy it now wholesale price and from there we went..I learned very fast about the car biz..good and bad..I started to find cars for friends of mine, not even charging for the service....just the fun to look and find them the car.

Then I met Kevin in 2005 on the Lamborghini Giro, that started in North California...he had a Black 1999 VT at the time. Well we hit it off and had fun...him, me and my son...soon he was saying to me..OPEN a dealership..I said NOPE do not want the hassel and the overhead. Well he kept bugging me.

Finally I gave in, made him my GM and off selling cars we went. However a little different, no big showroom, just a warehouse, no big sales guys, just us, and wanted to give the best to all in the underground car club nut jobs like me. BUT I have always told him and it will always be true here..IT IS NOT about the money...yes we need to make a fair earning to feed our familys BUT A FAIR...if we get a great deal PASS it on..DO NOT go OH WOW...here comes the killing money maker car to make up for those I have lost on...NO it is and always will be about the experiance...ALWAYS..anyone can sell cars...but only a select few sell cars with pride, and true friendship of their customers that all in all beome friends of the car club nut family.

I am sure I will do ok, I am sure I will loose on some..BUT I WILL not allow anyone to ever have a car from me that they are NOT 100% happy with.// And that is why it will always be, if your not happy for any reason, no questions asked...send it back for a full refund!!

As far as the Elfs...well as I get OLDER I find life is to short not to have fun...On any given day after about 7pm or so, you can find me at my local Mexican Bar...called La Palmera in Mill Creek. It is about a 1/4 mile walk from my house and a 1/4 mile crawl, fall what ever it takes to get home LOL I love it as there are great people and friends there all the time...and yes, VERY GREAT ELF picking on Thursdays and Friday nites.

Anyone ever in the area, always welcome to stop by my office, my house or my nite time office "espically on Tequila Thursdays" and say Hi...my door is always OPEN!!

Hope this answers some questions...if there are still some, more than happy to try and answer them for you.

    Great post. Great success story.

You get a lot of negativity on this forum, but even prior to reading this post, I could tell that you were a 'pay it forward' type individual.. a dying breed in the car business.

I would say we Started selling OFFICALLY as a DEALER on line etc June 2005 or so..most of the cars we have sold have been Lambos of course..but lately some Ferrarias, Porsches..just great deals all all kinds of cars with the growth..

I would have to look at our Tax returns for exact numbers, but a fair guess would be over 300 units in the last 3 years.

I have some customers on their 6th purchase from me.

I have had cars sold now to, Norway, South America, Thialand, Panama, Japan and South Korea..

    Most famous customers have included...

    Nick Cage
    Chris Angel
    Missy E
    Shawn White
    Richard Berry

As well as quite a few sports starts in Football and Basketball...no baseball yet..
