    It’s that time of year again, and if you really want a true blessing please show up and or contribute to this event.

    Meeting: Toys R US 3609 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie - (504) 455-9513
    Time: 11:30 AM Saturday December 13th Rain or Shine
    We’ll have an hour and a half to shop. Or if you have already purchased your toys bring them with you and meet us when we leave at 1:00PM. We will have a pickup truck in case we cannot fit all the toys in the cars. But please bring your cars, this is what the kids want to see. I will have a follow-up e-mail about what kinds of toy to can give to the kids.

    We’ll meet in front under the drive thru.
    We’ll unload and distribute toys ourselves to each child in the hospital. They rotate floors so we will be giving to every child on our assigned floor. Any toys left over will be stored and handed out by Santa Claus on Christmas day.

    Children’s Hospital car show will start at 2:00PM(Display Only)
    At 2:00PM the kids will be able to come down stairs and take pictures with the cars. We will display the cars from 2 till 3 PM.

    At 3:00PM we can all go to a local restaurant and eat. We can decide when we start to leave as to where we want to go.

    So far we got 5 cars coming just form Hattiesburg. We should have a good turn out. Looks like great weather.

    Thanks everyone, I appreciate your kind remarks and notification that you'll be there are not. Remember if you can not be there and would like to still purchase something for the kids, let me know I will come by and pick it up from you or collected your mony and purchase something for the kids for you.

    A shame only 2 Ferrari's could make it. Probably best to stop calling it "Ferrari Club" Maybe just F-Chat LA section Toy Run next year.

    kelly you did a good job organizing the event and getting people to participate. the cause is greater than the cars or who showed up. i wish more people in the southern louisiana section would have been there though, kind of disappointing, whatever the reason.

    The Hattiesburg Car Club was happy to join you guys.

    Thanks to Kelly for inviting us, we had 4 cars there..a supercharged M3, a 600 hp Shelby Cobra, and a 911 Targa (Stradale was at home) and my Ford GT.

    Every child in the hospital got at least one toy, that what it was all about.

    Looking forward to a track day soon with you guys.

    Great job Kelly. With everything negative in the world right now your ability to focus your attention to those less fortunate than yourselves speaks volumes to your character. Kudos to all that participated.

    Thanks, but it's not about me, it's about the kid who may not make it to Xmas. When we left Joe told me that they made it to every room. That means every kid got at least one present.
