I know of at least 1 fairly well known 250GTO for sale here in the US. I know the chassis # of it too. It sounds like the guy (like me) knows 2 GTO's for sale and wants to get in on the action

Brandon Wang only has one GTO, # 4219 GT.

    Anthony Wang has # 3769 GT & 4453 SA (4 litre 330 LMB)

Maybe they only want to sell to people who are strong in the ways of the force ;)

Seriously JCB have had a tough time of late and have laid off a large chunk of the workforce. It wouldn't surprise me if Anthony Bamford looked to sell some of his cars even if only as a symbolic gesture.

Of course the broker may be British but the cars but may not be located here.
    But UK based GTOs are:

    3451 GT
    3527 GT
    3757 GT
    3767 GT
    4115 GT
    4219 GT
    4399 GT
    5095 GT

    Any additions....

3851 was offered on Anamera last year, 5095 traded last year.

    Series II GTOs:

    3413 GT (Series I re-body)
    4091 GT (Series I re-body)
    4399 GT (Series I re-body)
    4675 GT (Series I re-body)
    5571 GT (Series II Body)
    5573 GT (Series II Body)
    5575 GT (Series II Body)

    Any thoughts....

    Therefore possibly #3767 (ser.1) owned since 1974 & #4399 (ser.2) owned since 1969?

I know, a lot of them from Wales :(.

But I cant seriously see this being Bamford or the Bamford cars.

His collection is vast and I'm sure several other significant cars will be parted with before these are parted with....and yes I know he recently sold his 599 with its rare colour scheme.

Correct, but 4453 is a 330 LMB, not a GTO. His second GTO is 4713 (the so-called 250 LMB), the only 250 GTO to share the bodywork of the 330 LMB's.

    Cheers.

3757 is a LHD model (the ad states the car for sale is RHD)

I am very sceptical regards the authenticity of the sale and cant seem to find anything regarding Eminence Motors!!

If they are the real deal, we could be talking about a 40 MM + advertisement? That ought to be a first.
