Season constructor results?

  1. Ferrari will rally and win it all

  2. They'll finish near the top but not win it all

  3. They'll score more than 60 and beat the spread

  4. Hopeless regulations and tech issues will ruin the season

  5. Too many idiots in pit lane that screw up the races regardless of the technology

Hopefully not too many people, it's way to early to give up on the season. I know that Ferrari certainly won't give up, especially seeing that they only gave out 1/2 points for the crap Malaysian race.

See if they can improve the car after the diffuser ruling, after 2 races it's impossible to say what will happen. Yes, we're off to a rough start but things can happen (remember '06' ???).

Never say die, I know Ferrari won't, and Kimi was looking pretty good today,

I say can the current car and start now on next years. This is why the Brawn car is so good, because they have been working on it for longer than anybody else, started when Brawn arrived in the team (because of course he could do little with the rubbish car he was given).

it's not over yet. if that diffuser is deemed to be illegal ferrari will be back at the top. if the diffuser is deemed legal i still think ferrari will find a way to fight back.

Ferrari has incredible resources to bring to bear on the problem and not used to being in this position so you know they are working 24/7 to get back in the hunt. I think you'll see them react faster than most and get back in the game but likely too late to save the season.

The car is not great. The drivers are not Schumacher, but the biggest problem is with the decision-making at the track. I'm pretty sure Ross Brawn and Michael Schumacher could have at least got a podium out of that car.

The odds seem against Ferrari right now. They are potentially outside the points with the Brawns, Toyotas, at least one Williams and one Red Bull (or even two) fighting for the top qualifying positions and race points. KERS doens't seem to help much, but it's still early to say. If the diffusers are deemed legal it wil be a tough season.

Two races doesn't make a season. There is plenty of time to get things squared away.

Ferrari have the pace, they just made some ridiculous mistakes this weekend in qualifying and the race.

At this point they are behind Brawn, Williams, Toyota and Red Bull.
The diffusers are not the deciding difference (see Red Bull) but not so far out of the hunt to be hopeless.
BMW seems to be in a similar position to Ferrari but superior team management and racing luck have them ahead in the points.
Ferrari are in a better spot than McLaren and Renault and are better positioned to improve. Internal dynamics will hinder McLaren and Renault has only one driver who can score points on a consistent basis.
All is not lost at this point but it will be an uphill battle.
As for starting on the 2010 design, Brawn was able to steal a march because of the radical rule changes this year. Not the case now.
Given the design compromises in using KERs Ferrari must think that it will yield great benefits with more development. So that may give a leg up on Brawn and the other non-KERs cars as the season progresses.
The biggest problem for Ferrari and other lagging teams may be the ban on all track testing (other than Fridays before races).
    Forza.

    Fixed it for you. :)

I thought as well that there weren't enough options. Particularly the last one was IMHO unfair: The regulations aren't hopeless, the team is.

One more race down with sad results. That plenty of time of yours is running out. Bahrain is next weekend and almost a quarter of the season gone. That is quite a hole to dig ones self out of.

    I'm standing by my statement.

Now the season start is even worse than 1992. Now we're back to 1982 and that was a very dark year. But I think unlike 82 there is no chance in hell we will the WCC.
