    I took the following during a tour of Carrozzeria Scaglietti in early 1984, I debated posting them here or Ferrari Discussion but as most dealt with 308 construction I posted them here, perhaps the Mods will feel differently.

    Apologies for the poor lighting, the original Scaglietti building (now sadly gone) was very dark inside....

    Needles to say they do not make them like this anymore!

    When I took these I was planning on changing the rear lower valance on my USA spec GTB to the European type for a 4V, interesting the changes between the two. The US and Euro cars where outside when the photo was snapped, and we wonder why they rust!

    I was a little surprised that fuel tanks were made there, as well as some exhaust pieces. I was also surprised smoking was allowed inside.

    WOW!! Fantastic photos! Thanks for sharing. My car was made in May of 1984, so its super cool to see 308s being made. You never know if one of those 308s is my car! :)

    I am surprised how little Scaglietti had chaged from midle of 80's. those pictures could be from yesterday, only models are diffrent...

    Great pictures. My 308 was manuf. in March of '84 so it is great to see what the factory was like back then.
