I stumbled on this company that makes repro 206 and 246 bumpers, but it looks like they have swapped the images of the 206 with the images of the 246 and vice versa.
Can anyone else confirm it? Thank you.

The 206 images look correct for a 206 and an "L" model, as the fronts do hook inward toward the grill. The rear also looks correct with the recess in the ends for license plate lights. I'm not sure about the later 246 bumpers as I dont have a later car.

I don't see bumpers for a 206/246 "L" in the photos for either car. The edges have more detail on the earlier cars.

I'm anxious for someone with some expertise to physically inspect them. Are they the same gauge steel? Made the same way? Quality of Chrome Plating? If anyone ever sees them and can take their own photos, please report back. Where's the blank plate for shine down license? ---------- J.R.

Hello Scott,

Thank you very much for your interest in our products.

We produce both types of bumpers, for the 246 GTS with ‘grabs’ on the front bumpers which curve inside the grille aperture and for the 206 GT that does not have these grabs. Please see pictures below.

Thanks for bringing the matter with our homepage to our attention – of course you are right that the photos are swapped - I will tell our IT department to change the photos as soon as possible.

With regards to the end caps, we do not have the flat ones – our have a recess to allow lights to be installed. However, they do not come with lights. Please find a photo of the end cap at the bottom of this email.

The good news is that we currently have one set of the 246 GTS bumpers in stock - we can make it ready for shipping within a few days. Please let me know if I shall reserve this set for you.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Best regards,

I was going to buy these as the price rivals re-plating the chrome on my originals PLUS originals are known to be thin on the metal, making it difficult.
I wanted to ask first if anybody has use them or if they've found a better source for bumpers

I could recommend these bumpers.
I bought both rear bumpers and nearly one year ago.
The polished stainless steel looks exactly like the chrome and
there is never a problem with corrosion again.
As we all have handmade individual cars the holders maybe have to modified.
Annother experience was that the stainless steel seem to have a realtively soft
surface, it is easy to get scratched on the surface so be carefull with moving the
bumpers over the table or things like that. The good thing is that any scratches could
be polished out again. I think I will buy the front ones too.

I spoke to these guys I beleive the bumpers are stainless not chrome. If you order 3 sets the price goes down,
