Someone decided to drive their Ferrari to work today near East Beaver Creek.
What did they think it was "drive your Ferrari spyder to work day"?
This is where we Italians use the term Shemm or Shemness or any variation thereof

Let's see who has the bigger balls, me for posting it or the driver for owning up to it.........

For every chair an ass is born! :)

Saw this on cp24, not to be rude but it was in the forecast and predicted with a chance of like 110%. Why would one take out there Ferrari on a day like today.

Hey in my defense I was curious. It seemed like the good idea at the time. JK lol that is not one of the smarter things I have seen Ferrari guys do. Hey look its snowing outside, perfect time to take the 348 out for a spin.

probably forgot and was trying to get it home before it got worse.

It's happened to me at least 4 serious times I can remember.

    In 4 different cars;

Z8(made it back to the office before the brunt of it hit, but watching the car infront of me spin around about 10 times on the DVp entrance to the gardiner NARROWLY missing another car by about a half inch was pretty crazy)

993 C4 (slipped and slided all the way down keele, not fun whatsoever. Scary at times)

Aston Vantage (Trying to get it back to the office so I could deliver to a very very important client at the time)

Suzuki Sidekick or some peice of crap like that ( damn thing is crap let alone in a blizzard, however I rememberd that I could 'lock' it into 4 wheel by turning the hubs on the wheels. Should have done this before spinning out about 5 times.

    It happens.

They were calling for it for 2 days pretty much guaranteed, what a disaster this morning. First snowfall and all hell breaks loose. Poeple really forget how to drive in the snow.

The thing I don't understand is it was ALL over the news on the weekend as well as monday and yesterday and people still crash cause of snow tires, or like this guy gets their sports car stuck in the snow or forgets to adjust for slippery surfaces etc.,

It's Canada everyone, it snows dea,l with it already. You've only lived here, what? your entire lives?!

Snow tires go on the car BEFORE it snows, fill up the washer fluid and keep a safe distance back. Don't drive like a ****** and you'll be allright.

BTW: this post is not directed at anyone in particular just the people who somehow manage to make a big deal of snow every WINTER and end up in a bad situation.

    No kidding eh James?
Unfortunately what you learn really quick is that your AWD vehicle or SUV goes like a bullet but stops like a train when it snows.
I think after the first few snowfalls we all adjust our driving habits and become a little bit more cautious (hopefully).

I was watching Global National and they were showing the latest snow storm to blow into the east coast and in the report, they showed a 355 Spider spinning it's wheels along some unidentified major road/highway (could have been in Toronto?).

You have to give him some credit that he's brave enough to be still driving at this time of the year, but I'm sure he must have known that a snow storm was going to happen?

I had my Ferrari out last night to attend a club event, but at least the roads are bone-dry out here in Vancouver. I wouldn't even consider it if snow was in the forecast...

Yes, this car is in Toronto.

Its a Red/Black 355 Spyder with 360 Wheels....I'm assuming it lives in the Etobicoke area since I see it once in a while around my neighbourhood.

Wow, maybe there's a reasonable explanation for this, but I have no idea what it would be. Really emphasizes the importance of knowing the ownership history of an exotic before you buy it.

Rick, it's a 355. Look at the pic Shemmer posted. You can even see the Pinnin emblem on the side.

I've seen this car many times in Toronto.....Its a Red/Black 355 Spyder with 360 Wheels.

Maybe the 360 Wheels are sets of winter tires? LOL

Rick is saying its an NSX? I've never seen a Convertible NSX with a black cloth roof before....!

thats what I thought too, and then just assumed it was the same car..

And hey Ricky, remember my situation? well after TWO years of fighting with them I emailed the ombudsman for Enbridge and she had the file thrown out, it' removed from my record and I will NEVER hear about it ever again!
Absolutely AMAZING, she did in 2 hours what over 20 supervisors and managers couldn't go in TWO years!
I wrote her boss a letter saying how frickin awesome she was!

    Sorry for the hi-jack guys.

Rick, it's the same car (355). Look at the light post to the left of the TTC photo with the bus stop sign affixed. Then look across the road to the snow bank with the green post right at the edge of where the snow accumulated. Comparing the two shots: it's the same location, same car. :)
