Does anyone have the instructions for how to fit the non-programmable Capristo ECU? The simple one that allows you to force the valve open at all times via the key fob?

My dealer is having a terrible time trying to get Capristo to supply these instructions. They keep sending the programmable ECU manual. They've even spoken direct to Capristo with no luck.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks,
    LL

    Instructions attached.

I install this kit, works well, but the only problem is that when i'm in the car, the remote doesn't work! I have to get out of the car, and press the remote button to switch the 2nd solenoid valve. I have located the control box under the RHS wing (covering the + & - battery terminals).

    Many thanks Darren, that's brilliant.

I used to have the remote fob on my 348 TwinSound it didn't work inside the car unless i pointed it at the rear window, or stuck it outside the door window and pointed it at the rear of the car. Suffice to say I didn't have the fob attached to my keyring just sitting seperate in the car!

Yeah, this really sucks. I especially wanted the remote so that i could switch the bypass valve in and out while in the car. A better option would have been to purchase a pierburg solenoid valve (you can buy this online) and hard wire it to a switch inside the car. This would have been a lot cheaper too! When i do the major service, i will get my mechanic to relocate the control box inside the car. The control box is not actually designed for the engine bay.
