    Loved the pics - I'm the owner of the '98 Brooklands R and the '51 Silver Wraith. The comparison of between the Brooklands and the '51 R-Type is really cool. Thanks for sharing the pics; I agree, it was a great show.

    Thanks! Glad to inspire your first post and thanks for sharing your cars.

    I believe you mentioned the Brooklands is your daily driver; very cool. Is it a long wheelbase? Reason I ask is that after the show I Googled Brooklands R and came across this site that states only 18 were made and to my eye your car does look long: http://www.rrab.com/bbrookr.htm

    Its a SWB - the LWB is only 4 inches longer (I guess it's all in the back seat, like the Jaguar XJ8). It is a very long car; I have a friend who is 6' 4", 260 lbs. and he has plenty of room when he rides in the back seat.
