Hi, Some of you responded to my previous post highlighting my purchase of an F430 Spider and a 360 Challenge Stradale. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=281391 Well I took out the F430 last weekend, my son took out the CS at the same time. Great day of driving, but at the end of the day, the two cars just didn't seem to get along. Not sure if the CS didn't think a drop top was worthy of running with her. Not sure if the Spider simply thought the CS was just too bold and edgy to be running with the sleek and elegant Spider. I couldn't stand to see my first two Ferrari's not meshing, so I did what any sane man would do, I traded the Spider for a Scuderia. If this new pair isn't perfect, I'm not sure what else I could buy. Enough of the lame humor. In reality, I lost my sanity and did trade the Spider for an 09 Scuderia with 1,000, putt around town, miles on her. It fell into my lap and I fell in love. Rosso Corsa Red, full CF package and full black leather interior with red stitching. I realize most people prefer the Alcantara, but this option package was very unique. No pics yet. I'm traveling the next week and a half. I won't be able to pick her up until May 14th.
Well Rosso Corsa with black leather interior reminds me of a 458 color combination... Congrats on finding a Scuderia in that color/trim combination! CH
Pics won't be available until I get her home. I pick it up on the 14th. The shipper let the strap hit the very lower corner of the front wheel well. There was a dime sized paint rub that has to be touched up. Between that and my travel schedule, no way to get the car earlier.
The CS heads to Watkins Glen with me on Tues. Two days in a row at the Glen should be a blast. It will be the first time I've run a Ferrari F1 on the track. My regular track car is a Porsche GT3. Hope I can keep the left foot from reaching for a clutch.
Not at all. I'm really looking forward to the 458. I just don't know when it's going to show. I have an allocation, but no build month yet. I'm still playing with the Spec and now that the Scud's in the house, I can be more patient. At the moment, I'm keeping the CS, SCUD and 458, but that may change. My goal would be to keep all 3 and then when the 458 "Scuderia variant" comes out, trade the std 458 for that. That would give me the best of the 360, 430 and 458 models. For the 458, I'm looking at Rosso Corsa, Cuioi Interior, Nero Stitching, Nero Dash, Nero Carpets, CF Driver Zone and CF Center Console. I also spec'd the lift system, AFS lighting, shields and Sport Wheels. Still debating NAV and seat type.
360 430 and 458 sport versions are potentially a superb trio! The 458 wearing Rosso Corsa would certainly maintain the "RED" garage theme... CH
Ha, ha. You're about number 50 on that list. My son continues to remind me that he likes being an only child (even though he's now 24). Keeps the inheritance simple.
You know what this means, right? As soon as the 458 CS/Scud comes out... Bye-bye 458. Then you have a perfect V8 Ferrari garage. Congrats man! Enjoy them.
