I have in my hand the scud sub (the sub box has two holes for subs but only one is a real sub ! the other one is fake, maybe to safe weigh) also I have the dash twitters and both components look very simple so I want to upgrade the sub on the two twitters.Maybe replace the fake sub for a real one so I will have two subs.

I cant find the amp in the car or in the exploded views,I don't know if the scud has no amp and uses the head unit power only to feed the speakers, someone help please.

I will post pics in a minute of the twitters and the woofers,I think the best options will be Focal or JL.

I am not a fan of big car audio systems but the sound in my scud was ridiculous so I installed a little JL and,JL sound processor,JL Tw and JL mids in the OEM speaker locations,I dint made any permanent mod during this installation (I used double sided tape to secure the amp and pros unit bellow the seats and all the wires are JL.I contacted Becker and they sold me a little wire harness that makes the Becker Cascade head unit capable of using RCA amp signals.
OEM speakers are a shame,I know the music in this cars comes from the engine but wow this is to much !! We made some nice OEM looking wire harnesses and we used JL Hi End line that btw are very small and light, something funny is that the OEM center console had only one real mid and the other is just fake.I had to machine 2 adjusting rings for the JL TW,s so that they fitted properly in the scud dash, like I said no permanent mods .

The sound is 80% better that for me is enough I am happy with this mod.To get a 100% better sound I need subs and I will not add more to this car.

Has anyone else tried this route? I've read mixed reviews on modifying the stock system. I tried sending SSR a message, but it wouldn't let me......
