While driving along on Monday I hit a sharp corner and the seat popped out of place. When I went to look at what the problem was it seemed that the spring on the adjusting lever was bent. I have an idea of how it got that way but not certian. Is there away to find just the spring? The seat guide looks to be in perfect shape but I've only been able to find the whole assembly and its around $200.00... I don't want to spend $200.00 for a spring.

    Thanks for the help!

I have a feeling I'm going to have to do that.

Are you sure the spring is bent? They are pretty stout little springs. My passenger side rail wasn't working properly so I bought a new one. I later looked at it and realized that the bottom rail had been bent allowing the tooth of the handle to spin past where it should have and it unwound the spring. I straightened it back out and the rail works just fine now.

That happened to me as well. The funniest thing was when taking off from the lights I ended up in the boot (trunk for you guys ;)) as the seat went flying backwards under acceleration. :)

Nick, I've sent you a PM mate and can post some pics if that helps.
