yes, super sweet! i had serious interest in this car after i bought my boxer. it was black and wicked looking w/ a big le mans fuel filler. sheehan had it sold for approx $150k.

i think it has been for sale for a while now. why is this car so hard to sell?

Nice car but, how do you manage to get every single picture out of focus with an automatic camera? Mine doesn't have that option.

I had the opportunity to inspect this car back when it was sitting in Mike Sheehan's garage. It was black back then, a more attractive color for a plexi-nose Daytona than yellow in my opinion. It was in very nice condition and fairly priced, but it was just too much of a stretch for me at the time and I ended up buying a GTE instead. Quel domage. :(

Appears to be a chromed metal surface. Possibly to act as sort of a cold-air-box over those velocity stacks? (as opposed to the hood padding?) I don't recall it being there when I saw the car back in 2003.

I think the headrests on a Daytona look really good, and it's a shame they are missing here. Not a Daytona expert but I haven't seen one originally without headrests. I'm not a fan of the other mods either (seatbelts, missing airbox).

I'm no expert either, but most of the early Euro plexi-nosed Daytonas I've seen were without headrests

As for the other items, at the time that I looked at the car, Mike had all of the original bits - the air cleaner, fuel door, etc. Yes, it had an outside comp-style fuel filler at the time. It looked cool and the original door came with the car (it was also painted black) in case the owner ever decided to take it back to original. No headrests though.
