Rather than tag along on the previous posting by PorscheGuy, I am starting a new post for the Advan T5 wheels. I have been eyeballing this wheel for at least a month since it is very similar to the F430 factory wheel and I decided to pull the trigger and order them from Rob at Vivid Racing. He is a sponsor, but he hangs out mostly in the 360/430 forum.

Below are pics of the T5 on a 360, and of the individual wheel in bronze. I decided to go with bronze to offset the front & rear big brake kits that I installed on my car.

The F355 fitment size is 18x8 w/ 42mm offset in front, and 19x10 w/ 59mm offset in the rear. Advan is the performance wheel line from Yokohama Tire, so I expect the quality will be top shelf. Rob has to special order these, so if anyone else is interested in a set you should PM him (username: VividRacing) ASAP and he'll place your order together with mine. I am sending him my deposit today.

You should PM VividRacing directly for pricing. I don't want to step on anyone's toes since I'm a customer, not the seller. Alternately they have the sale prices posted on their website. You have to search first by wheel type, then by size.

I'm anxious to see them on the car. The new brakes look awesome so these should really set it off. Curious about the 18/19 combo. I haven't seen that before. Any reason for the sizing difference versus 19" all the way around?

Yes, I saw a couple of pictures of this wheel on NSXPrime where owners used the staggered front/rear sizing in either 17/18 or 18/19. The smaller diameter of the front rim compared to the rear rim looks a little more conservative and compliments the wedge shape of the car. There's also a technical argument that retaining an 18" front results in better steering feel and ride comfort due to the lower unsprung weight.

It's going to take a couple of months for the wheels to arrive, so I'll be rolling on the stock 18s for awhile longer.

    See you Sunday!

Greg, I happened to talk to Rob today and may jump on your coat tails here. he was great to talk to, seemed to know his stuff and the wheels. As well, on my 348 speciale the wheel sizes are way off, so we were able to work a few wheelsets up and the Advan with a small spacer will fit nicely. Also likely going to go with 18 front and 19 rears with a 10mm spacer for the back and new lugs around. have to decide on tires yet, but have some time to do so.
Are you going to be getting ferrari center caps? I forgot to ask him the center cap diameter to see if caps are available. I also looked at a full custom forged 3 pc set but much more $$ than I want to go at this time.
    looking forward to it!

Hi Paul, wow, I completely forgot about center caps too as well as the lugs! Well, since I don't know what the I.D. of the center cap register is, I'll probably wait until the wheels arrive and pray that they are the same size as the factory cap. Otherwise I'll just leave the Advan caps on and maybe cover them with a sticker or something.

I have some T5 in our shop, I'll pull the center cap measurements this morning and post them. That way we can figure out of ferrari caps can fit them.

They include the avs center caps, we can get adaptor rings for your ferrari center caps I think they are $80 extra.

    EDIT:

Had to swallow my words the rings are $180 and that is pennies above my cost (To use ferrari center caps)

I went ahead and pulled the trigger on these wheels in bright silver not chrome. I think the chrome would look too bright on my car. They may take several weeks to come in and then tire selection begins. Going to start shopping this weekend for skins. Any ideas what youre going to go with on yours? what finish did you decide on? Is this for a 348 or 355?

Hi Paul, I've got a 355. I'm going with 18" fronts and 19" rear. In the front I'm going to keep the 225/40/18 stock size. In the rear I will probably go with 285/35/19. Looking forward to seeing pics from your car too!

I am moving up sizes from 17 all around to 18F 19R. Rears will likely be 275/30/19, not sure on the fronts yet. 10-15mm spacer in the rear.
Cant wait to get them in

Wow, to finally see them in the flesh is very cool! Fingers crossed that the bronze set makes it here successfully next month.
