So, moving in a couple of weeks. Up in the rafters of the garage are two pieces from a 348 I owned a few years back. Minor accident in Montreal, during the GP (other driver at fault, his insurance paid for a full-redo). Because it was covered by insurance, the front bumper cap (fiberglass) was replaced with new - it's damaged, certainly, but should be easily repairable by any body shop used to working with fiberglass. Also have the long, horizontal metal trim piece just above it (and below the front hood). Stuck it up in the rafters in case something else happened to the car, but sold it long ago.

Packing up the garage now, and glanced up and saw the pieces. "Oh yeah!" So, thinking about tossing them on eBay, with no reserve and starting at, oh, $50. But it's the PITA thought of SHIPPING it that's giving me pause.

Any ideas/suggestions on how to sell it? Toss it in the bin?

    thx,

Are you talking about the SS lip on the bottom of the front bumper?

I wouldn't throw them out - I am sure somoeone will either need them or eventually need it, and the parts are not easy to find as it is.

I'm pretty sure he's referring to the nose piece between the top of the bumper cover and the bonnet/headlights.

Sorry for the delay in posting - just got back from a trip out to SoCal. Correct, I was referring to the nose piece between the top of the bumper cover and the bonnet/headlights, thanks! :) It's steel, FWIW.

And I also discovered the left front fender - the very tip of it was slightly bent in the accident, and the insurance paid to have it replaced rather than repaired.

I'll take some photos when I take the pieces down from the shelf....

    vty,
