FIRST! Wait 'till you all get this month's FORZA. An epic adventure from late last Summer, staring a 365, 512 and 512BBi
The article is called Battle Royale - page 32. It was born on Ferrari Chat inspired by a couple of really cool Ferrari guys - Buzz and Bill - with planning and logistics by Tom Yang. Shooting it was one of the best days of 2010. Thanks all. DFM
buzz, you gotta repost your original open call for the drive. must be year and half ago, maybe longer?
This was the original post: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=269317&highlight=cousins I think shortly before that I reached out to you directly via PM and that's why the open call is for a 512 carb but references my 512i and your 365.
This is bad azz! I stopped ordering Forza because I just got sick and tired of all their stories on nine trillion HP modified Ferraris or the newest thing on the block and, in the process, basically disregarding the old, truly great F-cars. So thanks for giving me/us the heads up!
This idea (3 Boxer road test) was generated from the Ferrari faithful on Ferrari Chat. Please send in more cool ideas - Forza is listening.
this will be great! i am so glad that there wil be some solid boxer write up and hope that the commentary is fresh and not just the same old mike sheehan copy talking about the minor changes of the boxer over the years. i wish the 512bb supplied was wearing the proper vitaloni california mirors however. who do the cars belong to? pcb
So much for my suggestion to return to quarterly publications. Geeze, issue 108 is April 2011. Has it been 6 weeks already?
365 -- Bill Power mrp_e 512 -- David Zolov (not on fchat) 512i -- Buzz Moschetti buzzm2005 As for freshness, let's just say the commentary is honest.
Dear Forza, May I suggest the following red-heads for a similar story? Testarossa ~ 512TR ~ F512M Just a thought.
Which issue? The April issue, or an earlier one? The on-line table of contents for April makes no reference to this article. Thanks.
Just got mine on Saturday, ripped into it just for that story. Fantastic article. Fun read, great photos. Good to see them all together in one spot, same colors was cool too.
The only downside was the article wasn't long enough. If you haven't listened to the podcast I highly recommend it.
I posted a link to a few dozen more photos from the day. They are on Flickr - you don't have to join to view them. http://www.flickr.com/photos/56482034@N04/
