Hi guys had the car in the workshop over the weekend and the new car kit/deck and reversing camera installed. Here are some pics.

Please note that the camera is temporarily installed on the right hand side as the tech noticed the screw on the left hand lense was stripped and he didnt want to work on it till I had sourced LED lights to replace the factory ones.

The camera I sourced is actually for a Renault Koleos purchased from ebay for $27AUD

you can check it our here:

The deck I am using is a Kenwood KIVBT-901 with the 3" QVGA display which is excellent and super clear with the camera. I haven't got a clearer pic at the moment but will try to get some snaps tonite.

    A pic from my iphone.

With the Koleos camera it is a 99% fit with a little drilling required from 1 of the screw holes. Other than that its a pretty good fit.

You will need to replace the factory globe with a sustitute since the light globe is actually fitted into the oem lense.

Does anyone know where I can get some LED lights to plug into the factory plugs?
