    Thanks to Todd Cooperider's recommendations:

    Wash
    Clay Bar
    Portercable XP Dual action polisher
Meguiar's 105 Ultimate Compound orange pad
Meguiar's 205 Ultimate Compound with black and red pads, two applications.
Blackfire Wed Diamond Sealer / Wax with white pad

Total time for hood and left and right front fenders 5 hours with breaks. I know it's not a Ferrari, but my 360 is silver and in pretty good shape, the 930 was pretty swirled up. Not very Professional to mis-spell "Professional", sorry.

Thanks to Auto Geek too for the great buffer demo videos.

Not sure, there are still a few scratches here and there that I am afraid to go any further on, nor I am comfortable with wet sanding, even with high grit numbers. It was my Dad's pride and joy when he was alive, my Mom seen in one of the reflections is very happy, wishes my Dad could see the huge improvement. I think I see him in one of those cloud reflections smiling. :)

Looks great. You might try a Flex 3401 with a firm pad (yellow or orange). It will sometimes remove swirls or RIDS that the PC won't get. Nice work.

I used an orange pad with the 105 compound, speed setting 4-5. I found the smaller pad worked best, was tough working around those front headlight curves.

There is a tool that measures paint thickness right? Maybe that would be something to have.

Also, I've heard the suggestion to go to the junk yard and get a few fenders to practice on. Looks good!

Junk hoods or fenders are definitely the best way to get you confidence with more agressive combos or wet sanding.
