    Can You can google my plates and find any info? I don't think Jo shmo plates can be! I still don't see the big deal! I mean you could follow any one and write down their plate! U know wha I'm sayin!

    By nature of what a license plate is and why they exist, there is no privacy interest in the plate numbers. I once litigated this issue for a town that was scanning plates and some lawyer who got towed sued and unsuccessfully argued he had a privacy interest in his plate numbers. Anyone can see your plate driving so why would internet be any other way.
