For Ferrari Fernatic... :)
I GET TO MEET THE FAMOUS NNO! Im bringing you a NNO model no matter what you say.. How you make the wheel like that?
Chesney, thank you, i'm flattered, but please, keep your models; i have so many... Seriously... Build up your collection; enjoy it... As for the wheel on the CS, i just spun it and snapped a picture...
is it me or the interior is not the stradale?? ...plus the mirror shape. i think the detail is not that good...
Itsa mattel - dont be too hard on it. But seriously Carb... slam that thing - it looks like an SUV. Most hot wheels are easy to lower - try it - youll like it!
The problem with the 360cs is that the front wheels are too high off the guards because they use 19" rims but the use the same supports as the 18" Modena rims. I had to lower mine by cutting the shock supports. http://home.exetel.com.au/tony/360cs_cut1.jpg Looks a lot better and it's on par with the 360 Modena. http://home.exetel.com.au/tony/360cs_cut2.jpg Good? T.
Martin, i asked him in another thread and he offered this link... The car seems to be a computer generated image; very cool nonetheless...
yea i would like to know the same thing, i cant figure out how to lower it, hmmm can anyonehelp us out?
Here's very rough instructions. Clean you hands, put a white handkerchief on your lap for cleanliness. Remove all screws from the bottom. There's more than seven. The chassis pulls off in one quick step but it only moves say a 1/4 of a inch because the exhaust stacks stop it and the front trunk floor needs to be forced out. I eventually removed the trunk floor as it looks like the chassis is clicked in and the boot floor glued in from the top. Remove the interior - it comes off in one pull. Pull the two screws in the top of the front wheel plate. Cut a few millimetres off the tops of the strut towers with a boxcutter. Discard the front trunk floor. Put it back together to check height. In fact, the whole model holds together without any screws. I'll try to get some pix of it apart. T.
oooOOHH Diecast! Who in here collects 1:18's? Im slowly workin on my Ferrari line, I mostly have Porsches... I'll post some pics later... I have that same HotWheels CS. I agree, the mirror does not look like the CF mirrors on the CS and the front top portion of the bumper as well. My CS model has the amber reflector on the front side bumper, does yours have it? hehe J/K
You're in the right place. Most of us here have quite large collections, some embarrassingly large. I have mainly Porsches, Ferraris and Nissan Skylines. My favourite is the 993 series (UT models mainly). I have Daytonas and mostly modern ones like the Super Ferraris and 360s/550s. I'm expanding into Kyosho 308s and more Lamborghinis (want Miuras). I have some oddities like McLarens and local cars. T.
