First I want to say thanks to everybody that came today in this dreary wet weather. Like typical NW weather it rained even harder when they said it was going to slack off.
    2 Stradales
    2 360 Modenas
    3 355's
    2 old 308's
and Tim's P-car. Hope your spider comes in early Tim.

Hats off to you guys for bringing your beautiful cars out in this crap, speaking of which, we ran into a little of that "organic material" on the road today. Makes for slick driving! None the less we had a good run on some farmland roads and a pretty good lunch.

Caleb and I ran the second half of the route in our 308's. Wet but fun!

I will be at the BGCP again Sunday morning at 9:30 for those of you that missed today. More of the same plus a run up Hwy.9 and the Cavenaugh Lake loop. The weather is "supposed" to be better too........................

P.S. Carly was at the BGCP today and will be tomorrow.

Some of us were busy trying to solve the equation. It was good to see all of you guys again. It's going to be a long winter, withdrawal is already setting in.

Without the enthusiasm from everybody in this club it would be a dull club indeed. I am continuously impressed by the willingness of many of our drivers to bring out their brand new cars in less than ideal weather, (an understatement?), especially with the numerous road hazards (road apples) we encounter in this part of the country.

I vote Albert gets the "Cow Slalom" award for his enthusiastic approach yesterday.:p:p:p Wished I had a camera.

Wish I could have joined you, but George's service was yesterday. Dave & I drove our F cars, which was very much appreciated by the folks there. The folks putting on the program mentioned his Ferrari several times & there were pictures of it.
It was dry over here, so we went for a "spirited" drive afterwards in the rural parts of the county. Of course we *never* exceed the speed limit, but our roads were dry enough to hit, well, I'm not supposed to say, am I? Not bad for a couple of old cars! ;-)

Yep, George loved driving with the group. He might not have cranked his speedo to the places we did, but he enjoyed getting together with these beautiful machines.
By the way, after hitting the highs, the car seemed smoother than ever. Is that just my imagination, or does something good happen in the engine when it is well exercised. Every time I take it out ( which is at least once a week, even all through the winter), I make sure to warm it up well, then run the RPMs to 7K or so. There shouldn't be any carbon build up therefore, should there? Anyway, it likes the exercise!
