I took my 575 to Mallory Park last Saturday and was disappointed. The car has Fiarano, F1 box, Bridgestones on standard 5 spoke wheels, it was heavy and does not corner half as well as a Porsche GT2. I am hoping someone is going to tell me that the tyres are the problem, I waited 25 years to own a new Ferrari, you can imagine how I feel.

if you wanted a track car, the 575M was probably not your best choice. it's a pure GT - designed to drive from Rome to Milan at 150 mph. i imagine you can mazke its track performance better than you experienced, but that wasn't what it was really designed for.

I can only hope that one day I have the luxury of being able to complain that my new 150k+ ferrari just isn't what i was expecting and that I might just have to go and trade it in for a more sportier version. Only then[I'm sure..] can I possibly know what disappointment feels like....

    Dear Comrade RAY360M M8,

Perhaps the promoter of the 'Post' concerning the 575 will oblige us with a photograph of the aforementioend Ferrari. Clearly he has been 'sold a pup' . . . . is it perhaps a Reliant Robin in disguise? I am able to confirm that I did not observe a 575 at Mallory Park - this is not to say that one wasn't there, just that if there was, I did not see it.

It will seem slow compaired with the porsche on the track as most porsches get put in the vw beetle class on trackdays as it is very easy to get them mixed up as they look the same but go a little bit faster

Don't know if this guy is for real, but the point is that a Maranello weighs too much to be a good track car. I don't know what a GT2 weighs, but I'm guessing that it is a lot less than a Shark.

Sad that the guy has to put up with juvenile slurs just because he doesn't like his 575 on a track.

I've driven both (through P1) and I'm surprised that he thinks it's worth the observation - As somebody already said the 575 is a true cross-continent GT, the GT2 is a barely disguised track car.

I'm sure a Caterham isn't that good for transporting wardrobes, but not sure the observation is worth sharing with the world.

Neither. I'm not saying he's a fake or a fool, as others have, just that it's not the tyres or the handling pack, it's the car.

Hi I am for real, I was at Mallory on Saturday last, I am entered 15th Monday at Silverstone.

How do I put a bl--dy picture on here? The car looks like an imitation of the leaning tower of Pisa. What would it have been like without Fiarano pack!

The 575 is a very lovely car, I would have liked it to handle better on a track, tyres are the problem I am certain, but which ones will I change to?

Thanks for making me laugh. See you guys on Monday, then you can admire the back of a 575 speeding into the distance---Ha Ha.
