    Guys,

Got my wheels back from being powder coated. They are awesome. Different to normal silver wheels. They are sprayed a black base and then silver added over top. The wheels reflect amazing in the sunlight. Pictures do not show the mirror finish. Much much better then lacquer paint finish.

Powder coating is very very hard wearing, great for alloys.

I Paid £100.00 for set of 4 at trade (friend got them cheapwer for me).
£160 inc Vat for joy public.

They look look good, Justin :) From they pics, the finish looks matt rather than chrome.

Close up and when the light catches them they are metallic type looking finish.

I think they go well with black spider roof.

They where really badly curbed from going through the tunnel at donington park last year. They have a excellent job at welding in alu and rubbing down before shot blasting them.

    They mostly do motorcycle stuff.

    Justin,

They look great! :D However, just remember to regularly check the tightness of your nuts! I have a number of friends who've had wheels powdercoated and as the wheel gets hot from either spirited road driving or on track, the powdercoat can melt where the nut/stud holds it.

This equates to vibration and loose steering feel. It's often best to grind or sand the powder coat off at the nut/stud interface.

    Cheers
    Matt

Hey Hey, Very funny. Its when some one was walking through the tunnel and step off the curb. I sort of panic and hit the curb.

I seem to hit a lot of things in my 348 even other ferraris ... Sorry again geoff.
