I think it's a good craftman job. but they should not have copied the F50 design. That's make it ugly. If they had designed it their own or other LM replica, it would be better... But I can understand these guys sometime you have a few NSX around for some time, they want to do something different...
However, the next owner will be difficult to find.

perhaps a better question, "why not?"
It's not my Acura, whay would I care if they, (the owners), would like to turn it into something else? I think it doesn't look bad. I wouldn't buy it but then again, who cares?
I'm all in favor of making your car "your car". It might not be right for me, (or anyone else for that matter), but wouldn't it be a boring world, if everyone left everything the same. Creativity is good................

easy. a $10 note looks good right? an equally "creative" person could add an extra zero to the end of it and make it look like a $100 note. every time you came across a $100 note would you want to be so sceptical that you have to have it authenticated before you'd accept it as real?

this is NOT creative, it has nothing to do with creating something, it is making a high quality counterfeit.

What I see looks nothing like a ferrari but it was neat to see the process. They did do quite a job.

the car has nice lines, why pimp it out? I'll never understand some people's "tastes".

This is obviously why you have a turbo in your 348... your creativity sprung out. Just glad to see you didn't have the bodywork redone to look like an Enzo.

Why would you give a rat's a$$ what bodywork I might have on my car? The only one who has to like my car is me! If you bought your car to be just like everyone else, good for you. That's not my style. Who are you to judge me?

Sometimes it's good to think "outside the box", I see nothing wrong with taking something and trying to make something better or more interesting.

I'm honestly not familiar with the F50, so from my perspective I just saw an Acura become something else. Seems they got some interesting lines and did some good things...but they also failed to dial it in right...something is missing.

It would be better to say it was Ferrari inspired and modeled after the F50 and just put another name or emblem on it. The second they try to pass it off for something it's not...it's doomed IMO.

    erm, huh?
yes, if they made it into their own vision of a piece of rolling art, i'd want to shake their hand. the second they try to pass it off as a legitimate Ferrari supercar, i want to kick them in the balls.

why? because i've never seen one in the flesh and with that thing i would probably be fooled. not sure about other people, but i'm not a fan of that feeling.

not many NSX's in my area, i'd love to just see the original car.

It was cool until they put the Scuderia Ferrari shields and the Prancing horse on the car. Then it become the worst thing I've ever seen.

Not to mention that there's more things illegal with that than I can come up with.

Trademark infringement would not be the least of their problems in court. These people should go to jail for many, many years.

Oh and just to cover my bases... I dont care if they made it into a friggin Toyota or Chevy... if they used the trademarks then they should go to jail.

As far as Im concerned, the guy has tremendous skills. It takes alotta talent to scratch-build anything, and come so close to the real thing. I liken him to that guy who fabricated his own Merc SLR before they were even in production.

    Color me impressed!

it is now my aim in life to be the first bored rich guy to turn an F355 into an MR2 replica.

You are off base... its only an offense if he attempts to market the car with the F badging. Nothing illegal with him affixing a few cavallinos to his own car. That is, unless he stole the badges off someone else' real F car LOL.

It is obviously a fake...but that is stunning skill. Better used on a tube frame car with an original design. The most incredible thing about it is that they did it well enough to paint it black!

    Amazing craftsmanship. Truly amazing.

Personly, I'd have ripped the body panels OFF the car and kept it that way, but hey, I'm also the guy who thinks the Lotus Super 7 has too much weight in body panels on it.

Body work does nothing for me. I yanked off all the side fairings on my Ducati so you could see that which lies beneath. To me, THAT is the true artwork.
