Do you wash your own Ferrari? I think washing/detailing own car is one of the best part of the ownership. You can feel and learn the shape of the car.

Washing a Ferrari is like washing a woman. Beautiful curves and intricate details.

That is a great quote. I am going to get that printed and hang it on my garage.

Maybe I should start another survey...

"Do you wash your women?" :)

I don't wash my own cars - no place to do it and don't enjoy it anyway. I believe in comparative advantage so am happy to hire professionals!!

    Cheers

I usually wash my 360 and my RR, unless I want them waxed in chich case I call a good local guy to do it. But my neighbors get a kick out of it when I am washing my car as they walk by; they always stop to ask questions.

I have a professional do it. Its more time management and they bring their own water.

I drive all my cars way too much to have time to wash them.
But I understand others who wash theirs!!

A friend washes my 308 on his front lawn - keeps the neighbours amused and guessing! Actually I've discovered one of the perks of Fcar ownership is lots of people volunteer to wash the car and I've instituted my own little rule - girls ride free, guys have to wash the car if they want a ride! Guess that explains why mine is always the dirtiest car at an FCA gathering!

When I first bought my 328, Mika was still racing, and I'd wash the Ferrari (myself -- including chamois dry), whenever Ferrari won an F1 race.

Later years, that got to be too much washing. :D

This year, it looks like the car would get awfully dirty. :(

(The EVO, on the other hand, is a rally car: it's supposed to look funky.)

I consider washing and waxing one of the joys of ownership. Besides I think I do a better job than any of the detailers I've used that do my other cars.

Clive, now there is some food for thought.

I do wash all my own cars, and yes, I do wash my woman and enjoy both very much, although the woman is much softer and more interactive. Don't tell my car I said that though!!

I have yet to wash my woman while she washes the car but you can bet that will be on the agenda soon.
