I'd prefer to see the V12s in working cars, racking up miles like there's no tomorrow...

I don't mean pulling a working V12 out of a new Enzo or anything. If there's a wrecked Testarossa that's salvaged, the engine block isn't of any use.

How much would the engine block of a wrecked/salvaged Testarossa cost anyway?

BTW, any guess on what that would cost? Assume that the engine needs tremendous work on it in order to run.

Odds are that the engine is gutted (pistons, valves, shafts...) in order to make it as light as possible.

BTW...how about this to go with your couch?

Very sweet Ferrari artwork! That engine table would make a great conversation peice. If it was a California car that didn't and couldn't pass OBDII smog inspections, I could understand it being an "under the table" sort of thing.

    LOL :)

Sorry, it's just kinda sad that all that can be made out of that engine is an end table, a small one at that.

These ideas of using cars for furniture are great. In no time my cars will be as valuable as GTO's. Keep up the good work.

Wow, to think that a 4 year old thread has resurrected...just like the discarded engines used to make coffee tables. :p
