Well, despite the atrocious weather I headed off over the Alps to Como and Villa D'Este on Sunday for the last day of the Concorso D'Eleganza.

There were some truly mouth watering cars on display. Bentleys, Bugattis, Pegaso, Pre-war Mercedes, Isotta Fraschinis, Hispano Suizzas, Rolls Royce, Duessenberg (Mr G's car) plenty of Zagato bodied Aston, Alfas and Lancia's from the 50's and 60's (as some will know, particular favourites of mine ;))and a great display of Pinin Farina specials.

Of the Ferraris were the Ferrari BB prototype, the P6, the modulo (which was unfortunately under plastic when I came back to take pictures, 375MM (Mroz's car) an oh so pretty little 500 Mondial, 410 Superamerica, 250GT Speciale, 250 California Spyder and plenty of modern spcials, (Mythos and Rossa). Its difficult to say which were my favourite, but I seem to have taken the most pictures of the 206 dino, so that must say something :)

Finally, but by no means least, it was great to meet Jim, Mr Glickenhaus and his family and Salvatore. I've seen the Duessy, now I want to see the 2 P3/4's :D Hope you all had a safe trip back.

Here are some of the many photos I took in no particular order.

    Enjoy.

    Thanks
    Simon
