Some friends of mine have opened a little pub in Down Town Lewisville and would like to see how many folk would like to attend a Montreal GP watching brunch NEXT SUNDAY.

The place has 3 Big Plasma Screens and we would be able to cone off the street parking for all of downtown Lewisville for our use.

The place is called "the Olde Town Flying Pig" Named for a lifetime of being told "when pigs fly" about their dream to open a bar.

If we can RSVP on the thread and get an idea of how many people TDM should be able to kick in a little to get some nosh started.

    www.oldtownflyingpig.com

It is a nice spot and the people who own it are really good folks so. Lets get out and support their dream.

It is just off 35E @ 1171 and just off 121 . Thoughhts?

    That's Sunday, June 12 - right? Just double-checking. ;-)

I read a story about them in the Dallas Morning News "Quick" edition. The reviewer recommended them.

Same here....Jim, do they serve food or is it strictly a bar?? I'd like to know whether or not to have lunch before I go. :D

If they don't have food, I can arrange to bring pizza from my father's restaurant.

I've already contacted the Old Town Flying Pig to confirm this, they have no problem with it as long as anyone under the age of 21 is out by 8 pm.

Do they have TIVO by chance? If they could start recording it at noon, and we start watching at 1pm, then we could fast forward through all the commercials, and anyone who is late, wont miss anything.

You mean you don't like watching the stay-puft marshmallow man driving the Brabus around the desert, or the pig farmer hawking air filters? :D
