Thanks Ferrari of Beverly Hills... This morning (during my usual 5am commute), I was passing by Ferrari of Bev. Hills on the way to my work (westbound Wilshire). They had a BEAUTIFUL silver 360CS with stripes on in the middle of their showroom... and I was so mesmerized by it, I RAN THE LIGHT! A minute later, a cop on the motorcycle pulled me over. When he asked me if I've seen the light, I told him the truth... "Sir, I was just mesmerized by that beautiful silver Ferrari...." He laughed and told me that that's not a good reason to run a light (I guess I agree with him on that). He just lectured me about it a bit, joked about it a bit, and let me go. Whew... that was close. And I can't believe it's my third ticket I got away with in a row... (two for speeding before) But I must say, that silver 360CS with stripes were AMAZING... (well, FoBH has a great lighting as well to make the car even more beautiful.)
Yeah, he was a really nice guy. I am sure that I wasn't the first one who was totally mesmerized by the cars at FoBH and other exotic dealerships in the area.
Hey, maybe Bryant will tell you who buys it so you can try to be his/her friend!!! Then again, maybe not!
isn't that part whilshire FULL of camera lights also? hopefully the one you ran wasn't one of them. i don't think the camera would care if you were looking at a ferrari or not. =/ With that said, i'm going for a look myself this weekend, =)
You know why this is bullsh!t? The next westbound light on Wilshire is about 100 yards past the window!
Maybe he was daydreaming about his next pseudo-date.. "does Spago have 'Ferrari Friendly' parking? An all-gay waitstaff? Do they serve Lobster?" Image Unavailable, Please Login
Go and check again. There's a light pretty much right next to the building (Wilshire & Canon). The 100+ yard one is on the east bound (Wilshire & Crescent). Time to get yourself a compass?
Yes. Claremont is EAST of L.A., so to get to Westwood, I GO WEST. In case you're confused, EAST is the opposite direction of WEST.
Yeah, call what you like. I think you guys seriously need to get a life. What happened is what happened.
Take speed into the calculation. Unlike someone, I do drive at/over speed limit. (Maybe I should not dis my fellow Dave-and-his-sidekicks-opponent. )
So you were reckless because you could not stop your car within 150 yards? How fast on Wilshire Blvd were you going in RUSH HOUR traffic?
