All you guys either hovering on the point of buying or can't quite afford to buy, a 355, have no excuse now...

Thats alot of car for the money, I reckon they have got to be good for this mileage, I can't see it ever being worth less than £36000

    Great Value!
Its a very early car at '94 and Verdi dont include a warranty with that price. However its still great value....

Sounds like Verdi are screwing up the used market!

They have a high turnover of used cars which they can afford to let go cheaper for this reason which then fcuks up the market for everyone else!

Not intentionally I can't imagine, but they'll move more cars for a smaller profit.

Having said that, if Verdi are selling the car on behalf of a customer who just wants a clean quick sale then maybe that's why it's so cheap.
If one cheap motor pops up every now and again I don't think it'll have much effect on the used market.

Is it likely that people will be put off by the fact that it has 8 owners and high miles??

As most 355's of that vintage tend to have far fewer owners and miles.

Thats approx 5K a year in mileage (or 100 a week) so if you used it on average 3 days a week you'd cover that amount, excluding holidays etc.
8 Owners isnt really alot for an 11 year old car, some of them may well be the same person merely shifting the car from company to personal etc.

V Cheap 355, in 5 years time they'll be where the 348's are now....

It had crossed my mind to sell my 355 for say £48 to £50k and buy the cheaper one and put my plate on it, mileage don't bother me at all as long as its been looked after (my A4 has done 160,000 miles!)

That would leave me still with a 355 and perhaps £15k ish to buy a new runabout to replace the Audi.........like a 348 or summat equally cheap and nasty. :D:D:D

That's already *much* cheaper than recent 348's have gone for.

Hmmm.....at this rate I'll soon be able to swap my Skoda for a 355 as a spare runaround for the school run, and have change left over. And with its power steering, even my wife could drive it. A pink one would be perfect. Chaa, is yours for sale? :D

I dont think that is true, from what I saw. When I was looking around a couple years back , I looked at 5 or so 355 spiders and all had 5+ owners. Nearly all of them were sold at least once in first year - presumably for profit !

I toataly agree with that statment. With out explaining how, it takes all of 5 mins to remove the speedo and seconds to connect the speedo poles back to front to wind the miles of. Ferrari should have made them more tamper proof. Even the 360s are a breez to do after they are pluged in to the device ya simply choose ya own numbers. Its all not good:(

Joking a side Hazy, i think this subject is often not spoken about. And maybe it should becourse there are alot of gulable people/buyers out there who beleve the BS of low mileage:( Its a self fueling monster, a buyer wants a low mileage model and will ay top doller. And there are sellers who know they will make a loss of Ks if there cars are not low mileage, so.... 30 mins later, bingo (greed).
i have always found it funny that there are alot of 355 out there with 10,12,16ect K on them, and they are 8,9,and 10 years old. When if you look at the mileage that some 360 do today alot are in the 40ks. Somthing is not right.

Seems still too expensive at 36k.......the 355 dont exactly look nice does it???The 348 and 360 are far better looking....i can see the 355 around 30k soon.
