    Whilst carrying out the PPI on the Daytona John "Tabletcounter" is considering, the vendor showed me round a 400i he has in another garage, If anybody is looking for a winter project this car could be it.
    The asking price is just below £5k and the car needs..... approx £750 in paint / metal work, a bit of TLC to the interior (dash leather has shrunk, the seats need reconolising and the carpets could do with a damn good clean) and the exhaust gaskets on the near side bank need changing (the actual exhaust however is OK)

    Plus points are the brakes work properly, the running gear is fantastic and its running on 15 inch wheels (so no problems finding milimetric tyres)
    A car in similar condition is currently doing the autotrader / ebay routine for twice the money!!
