I understood it is a 1978 car, with some bizarre looking telephone style wheels.


The guy spoke with the farmer on the telephone. - He read 1978 on the title. Are these the stock wheels with this particular car ? Are these aftermarket wheels ?






I thought you wanted a very rare P200 Uracco or 1984 Countach ?

 

i would love to know details about this car as well. hell a beater may be fun as i will take the whole car apart anyway no matter how nice it is, as thats "what i do" . course a C/T is going to be a money pit, but it will be nice to have one to work on. really tired of what i have now.

 

With my luck the car probably has old 928 wheels on it...

Wasn't there a picture not long ago of a real 'beater' Countach sitting in a farmers field?? I think the car was white....anyone else know the one I am talking about??

 

Yea, the one with the holes in the hood where the front bumper (looks like a wing) was attached to meet the 5mph bumper rule. That one looked to be in horrible condition. I wouldn't waste my time on that particular one.

From what I understand that white one was sold, some one spent a lot of time & money on it. They wanted to bail out, and put it up for sale. Can't remember where I saw that, but I think he wanted 45k for it in its unfinshed condition. Do a search here, I think that is where I saw it.
