I don't even know who makes the Carrera GT, it is in Porsche Dealer Packaging, but I think it may be by Maisto, since it is not detailed. Um, it is really cheap, it cost me about 100USD last Xmas. If you are seeking for fully detailed 1/12 Carrera GT, you should wait for the Tamiya 1/12 Carrera GT which will be released in coming Nov 2005. Also, Autoart is going to release their 1/12 Carrera GT, too, it probably in early next year.

I have never seen it again after I purchased it in past Xmas. Never seen this in Ebay, also.

    Dear Christian

I think your statements are pretty offending and insulting to people in HK.

You should be a bit tactful using such words. I can't deny there are crooks among them, but surely there are genuine sellers over there / here (I am currently stationing in this fabulous 'shop til you drop' cosmopolitan). Your very same statements I can apply to certain North American and European sellers I encountered before, however I will never stereotype all sellers as bad sellers.

I have acquired a Tamiya enzo (USD 350)and Porcher F40 (USD 400) here with no problem what so ever. In fact, both kits were new in box. All goods were thoroughly checked before transactions were finalised. If I am not satisfied with any good then the deal will not take place.

I have to let my words out.

I'm happy for you, ( your lucky man!) may be one day...

I'm not happy with LAwbodel (seller) it's only.

becarfull with chinese sellers, that all.

please don't make generality with my opinion.

But your statement in previous post makes people think that chinese seller is bad.

I cannot say that you are wrong as the seller did not ship you the goods. But I wish to express my opinion. Since you are in France (I believe), It is a long way from Hong Kong. In my past experience, it usually takes 10-14 days to arrive France from Hong Kong by regular airmail after it sent out from post office. There are also chance for the parcel lost during delivery if you did not pay for registered or insured airmail (I assume you did not). The arrival time (10-14 days) may be varied if you package is over 2kg (at this point, I have no idea what did you buy and how heavy is it), the arrival time may take longer, as the France custom sometimes hold the package to examine the content, and it will take about a week more to arrive. I have had experience on sending a 1/43 BBR model by registered mail, it arrived in 4 weeks after sending out and it was held by France custom to charge import duty.

So, may be some time a bit later, you get your package.

ok With you. May be I must to wait a couple of weeks more....(3 weeks yet!)
is it true that customs blooked the proctucts for examination.

but the most insupportable is: no news from the seller, no mail etc...descusting sensation

sorry if my behavior in first mail disturb. (in the moment it was my opinion)

I know how you feel. I had a model from Germany never arrive and the seller didnt care. There was certainly a communication problem though.

I understand what you feel, indeed, I can say some of the powersellers in HK, they are some major hobby shops, since their sales volumn for every day is huge, and most of the time they don't reply oversea customers after they sent out the package. That is the communication problem. If you were paying thru paypal, I do suggest you to claim for a charge back within 30days after you paid.

I did have bad experience, I sold a BBR MC12 testcar to a France buyer, I ship out 3 days he paid, the model was sent by registered package, it took about 33 days to arrival. The delay was caused by the France custom after I filed a trace at the Hong Kong Post. The French buyer filed me a charge back on the 29th day after he paid. Unfortunately, the model arrived 4 days later after his claim. The stupid Paypal declared I lose, they frozen my account and force me to pay the charge back amount, and I lost my model.... But the problem arises is majorly caused by French custom.
