    Well, if anyone's missing their valve stem covers, here's suspects #1 and #2...

    After being caught in the act earlier trying to remove them from Jeffrey's CS, I was put on the case to lookout for these guys. Well, I caught them checking out a car, and then red-handed pulling the covers off of the car. I promptly scolded him, and made him put it back on the car. He was shaking tremendously after getting caught, and of course said he'd never do it again many times, but he'd already been caught once.

    He also had a VW that he pulled from his pocket as well that he promised he'd put back. If you're missing one, you might wanna look for these guys....

    Didn't catch the other kid, but they seemed to be working together.

    Hopefully someone here knows the parents of these kids. Might be a good idea to check their pockets.....

    Where are the RACs when you need them? The kid didn't even think to look behind him when doing it. Too funny. He'll know better next time.

    Wow, just checked my 355 - they're intact. Glad I bought the theft-proof caps, although I guess anyone with a pin could undo them...

    Little bastards! I just checked my Esprit, and sure enough I have one Lotus valve cap missing - if anyone knows them let me know

    Woulda been fun to grab the two little bastards and make a nice announcement to everyone there. Let the owners have a crack at some punk kids sheisting things off of cars. Prob the same little ****s that stole my shorty antenna (it's the principle that pisses me off), WTF who steals an antenna off a flippin pickup truck.

    Fortunately, I have those theft proof caps that spin without coming off unless you have the small plastic tool to remove them. I was standing in front of my car with four other Fchatters and I see this kid bend down towards my right rear wheel. I figured he was taking a closer look at the brakes or something. Next thing I see his hand on my valve stem trying to spin the cap off! What a little turd.! I yelled at him and he stood up and gave me a dirty look like I was rudely interrupting him. There were no adults around (at least none that would claim them). When Jay finally nabbed them red-handed I think they were sufficiently scared. Never saw them again.

    If the self-imposed destruction of their CC experience for all time in the future, helps to prevent them from taking this BS into their adult lives - - then we all will have been, in some small way, a part of "human growth". Let us now - - - hope. But if they do it again - squash em'!!!
