Sorry for the late notice. I am getting together with another "boosted" Porsche owner tomorrow, Sunday, if weather permits. Aiming for early to mid afternoon for a spirited drive. Anyone interested? Probably meet somewhere in Prospect. Maybe a beer afterward?
    Call me tomorrow if interested.

  3. Was the service book stamped? March? That seems like a long time to keep your car, you sure you didn't send it to a high school vocational school? You will need to buy another car for a spare backup! Well, it still is a NICE 355 anyways.

Noticed my post was a bit confusing.

The broker/service center whereby I purchased the car - fraudulantly represented they performed the 30k. They infact did not as I learned when I shipped the car to Ohio last month to Ferrariguys (NJB) to correct problems I've had since I took delivery. They (NJB) stated many parts had not been replaced as required by the 30k protocol. The guy I bought the car from did not stamp my book or send documentation of the 30k service when he delivered the car. I had to send the service manual back to him to stamp. In 3 months he has not returned it (manual) or any service documentation. I'm having another 30k performed on the car and correcting a few other items at NJB. They will keep the car in "storage" until March. It's either that or take a chance w/ the kids and their bikes in my garage;)

The individual I bought the car from is Wade Nunez, AutoCorsa in North Carolina. He goes by 308nut on this board. I won't get into any other comments as legal action is pending but will answer Pm''s. I was thinking of posting a "watch-out" notice under general discussion. What do you guys think?

So that's my hard luck story for my first Ferrari....

Talk to your attorney before posting anything with details. Or just wait until the legal matters are resolved. I believe in warning others about your experiences, but you want to make sure it will not end up costing you more harm than good.

  8. At least you are replacing the timing belt. Heck I would have dropped a valve or two believing the guy. It stinks paying for something you already paid for -good luck!

    Stephen,
As I have stated to you and proven by pictures, I did indeed perform the 30k service as I said I did. I did take a long time to send the documents and warranty book as you said but you knew why. That I appologize for, as for "not" doing the service, you are wrong. I have provided you now with full documentation and receipts from my supplier for all parts replaced. Also several pictures of the service being performed. I have attatched two of them. Like I said in an email to you, I think it is wise we refraim from any more public discussion until this is resolved. I do not want to be blamed for something I did not do, and I am sure you do not want to say something you may regret. So my suggestion is to handle this like professionals and come to a resolution that we are both satisfied with. So as soon as I am made aware of why you think I did not do the service we can put this to rest.

    Thank You

    Wade

    Mr. Nunez:

I am not going to go into all the issues I have experienced w/ you on an open forum. I just don't believe that to be productive. I have expressed my dissatisfaction to my regional "neighbors" about my experience with you w/out outlining details and specifics and those effects regarding my car. I will leave it at that and should they want to know more in private I will speak w/ them.
Others elsewhere may have positive experiences w/ you, I clearly have not and I'll leave it at that. I have spent enough of my time dealing w/ you and that is the only thing I regret.
