Enzo painting

Just finished this painting of an Enzo. What sets this piece of art from the rest is that is done on 1/2" Lexan. So how is it done? What makes this type of art so difficult is that you have to do all the things that would be done on a "normal" painting, last. So that means all the highlights and shadows are done first,, and then each layer of colour has to be done completely backwards to traditional art. Yes it was very difficult to say the least. The paint that I use is Dupont automotive paint. This allows me to us all those nice pearls and metalics without having to clearcoat. The lexan just makes the colours look so deep.
