That's all, no big deal.
Congratulations! Just curious, who's still here that were signed up back then (say the first 30 days)?
Congrats. Hard to believe it's only been 5 years. For those who weren't here and haven't read the archives, the earliest stuff I can find is at http://70.85.40.84/~ferrari/discus/messages/251280/6263.html Sample title threads from way back then... *People's Reaction To you AND your ferrari...stories? *Changing Timing belts on 308 Qv *Help on buying a Ferrari *308/328 vs 911 *Rendevous (1977 short film in a 275GTB) *Why are messages being deleted? I suppose some things stay the same Also, the first "State of Ferrarichat" post by Rob: And check out the rocking logo, from the yourlog days As much as Rob and I disagree about things, I have to say he's done a heck of a job. Most importantly, he's done a great job of making it a good place for others to stay around. this calls for a celebration !!!!!!!!!!!! you know what i have in mind !!!!!!! congrats rob....... whens the bash ?????
Thanks Tillman. I've been OK with you since I accepted you weren't intentionally put on Earth just to give me a hard time. If I need honest feedback, then I know you will offer it. I appreciate that, these days. Thank you to all the users. It was a good group of people with 8 users and now with 23,000 users. I think this still sums up our foundation mission... As we have grown from 1,300 to 300,000 hits a month so have our costs and my time requirements, but unintentionally maybe we're still not making many cents. No complaints for anything the past 5 years and I wouldn't change a thing. We're in a constant state of learning and evolution. Here's to the next 5 years.
Actually, I invented Ferrarichat back in the early 1980s. But I had to wait around until Al Gore invented the internet for things to take off. Previous failures: Cactuschat Bollweevilchat Porschegab
Rob, thanks for making such a great site. I spend a lot of time here on fchat and I have learned so much more about Ferrari than I ever could have on my own.
Congratulations Rob .. Thanks to the mods for all their hard work ... I am sure most dot.coms havent stayed long enough to celebrate their 5th b'day
You done good, Robbie! Here's to the next five. Much better than scratchmyballzchat.com, where I used to hang out. Cheers!!
