Talk about a "fixer-upper"! Yikes...I wouldn't hold much hope that the exhaust is a selling point.

Last I heard, it very difficult to get a front end for the TR. Might have to try and do the 512 body kit.

All in all, unless you own the bodyshop, its a parts car. Too expensive to repair fo rthe common guy.

I don't think 10K is anywhere near what it would cost...... :(

10K....no way. The hood alone will cost 7500. The cheese grater rear pannel is worth another 7500. Front left, suspension, bumper, spoiler...heck 35-40K before your finished. Parts car only.

My race car was pretty close to that shape when I bought it. the most important thing w this car is to verify if the front sub assembly has been damaged becus that will be $$$. If not then you could fix it & paint it, probably closer to $15-20 if thats all thats wrong with the car

According to you its a barn find. Maybe you can pick it up for 20grand and fix it for $4,000.00 and resale it for $100,000.
    Good luck with that.

That's the same old unending paradox. "THEY" say it's junk and unfixable. "THEY" say part it out. But WHO is buying the parts? Somebody who owns another car in the same, or worse, condition? The cycle continues.

Totally fixable for a person with the right talent and resources. Under $20K and in the U.S.... this would be a great project.

It's going to be hard to get it from where ever in the heck it is in either a timley or secure fashion though.

On the other hand, definetly scrap it.... it's only a TR, they will make more.....

Parts are very costly for a tr, an engine piece, or a rim, rear deck lid. There are many parts that are usable.

The car would be worth more in parts than that condition.

Uh oh, someone selling a car that he loves = 25% or more over market price.
    This is the donor car.
